Fantastic hiking opportunities right outside the door, a walk in the field on foot or skiing in our mighty mountains or just enjoy the view over the sea, the possibilities are there. Have a base here if you are going to ski, shops and restaurants are 5 minutes away by car. Museum and the aquarium are 2 km away. Have a base here and drive around and enjoy all the great nature and food experiences Lofoten has to offer.

We want everyone to experience nature as closely as possible. Therefore, we have built three small cabins/ houses, with large glass surfaces everywhere, so that you can sit inside and enjoy the mountains, the horizon, the sea , the sunsets and the midnight sun. Now it's not always sunny on the island, so we have a nice sofa, which can be daybed too, for moments when you want to sit inside under the blanket, look at the rain and the wind, but still get a great experience of the changing nature.

The Old House of our farm, charming house with a spectacular mountain wiew! The house is built about 1880, the bathroom and the kitchen is renovated. Here you can travel back in time, no tv.. The stairs scueecs, and the floor can be a bit cold in the winter, but all is forgotten when you fire up the fireplace. The island is perfect for hiking, biking and kajaking. Check in after 4 p.m, check out before 12 a.m. Transportation to or from the boat can be arranged. We wish you a peaceful stay.

Galleribygda Tranøy. Ridesenter nearby. Best suited for 1-2 people.

Røtnes is a beautiful bay on the stunning island of Engeløya, just opposite the Lofoten Islands. On the island you can find pristine, white beaches, mountains and valleys and the sea is crystal clear with plenty of fish. In our homestead we have a generous size barn where we have an artist studio, workshops and the guest studio apartment that we offer up as Air B&B. A wooden rowing boat, a canoe, kayaks and bikes to rent in spring, summer and autumn.

The writing room is located at the sea, and there are nice swimming opportunities. The nearest village with shop and petrol station is called Bogøy and is 14 km away.
