Raven’s Nest Cabin-tucked away in the trees

Totally disconnect at the Raven’s Nest a back to basics rustic tiny cabin tucked away in the trees. The cabin is close to the main residence but completely private with a private gated entrance and free parking a short walk to the cabin. The cabin is heated by a small wood stove and an oil heater, has a small kitchen area and a loft with a queen bed. Please note there is no running water and the bathroom is an outhouse a short walk away. There is no cell service or wifi at the cabin.

4 season space that is perfect for resting between Bragg Creek activities. 12'x14' main floor (3.7mx4.3m) Queen size bed located in the ladder-accessed loft space. If you are coming to bike, hike, horseback ride, or enjoy the dining and shopping opportunities, Bragg Creek welcomes you! We describe it as rustic as the toilet is a porta-potty (serviced weekly, cleaned between guests) and there is no shower or bath. The cabin is insulated, heated, and there is running potable water.

The master bedroom with ensuite is situated on the upper level with a peaceful forest view. The ground floor level offers a sofa bed in a large family room with adjacent shower and bathroom. Guests may also enjoy the small shack with single bed, on top of the hill, offering unobstructed mountain views. Hiking trails and horseback riding nearby.

This Tiny home is located in a small mountain Village on a lot behind my house. It is close to Columbia Lake, Fairmont hot springs, Lussier hot springs, and the Kootenay River. If you like the outdoors you will love Canal Flats. You can ski, hike, bike, kayak, canoe, swim, skate, water ski, and fish. Newly renovated with a few small details to finish inside. The outside of the building still has some work to be done on the siding and landscaping.

Location is close to both provincial and national parks as well as a 5-10 minute drive to fantastic restaurants and shops in Canmore. The suite is clean, bright, brand new and fully equipped with a king size bed, full kitchen, laundry and outdoor space to enjoy a BBQ and propane fire pit. The pop up double sofa bed is perfect for one adult or 2 children.

Located just a five minute walk from Kinsmen beach close to the downtown district, our lower level suite is perfect for those vacationers wanting to take in all that our beautiful mountain town has to offer. I am fortunate to have lived and worked in the valley for the past 10 years, and I love having the opportunity to host guests and share some of my favourite "must see" gems of our little town.
