Holiday rentals with a hot tub in East Lothian

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was immaculate which made it comfortable to relax. The hot tub was a highlight for the whole family. The water was sparkling clean. The location was picturesque & convenient. We had a great time cycling & visiting local attractions.

We visited with 2 children, a baby and a dog. It was quite cramped but we knew this would be the case when we booked. The setting is beautiful with a lovely enclosed garden and private hot tub area. Emma was very responsive to all Messages sent before our stay clarifying things that were included such as the size of the dog crate, and also whilst we were there. The bothy was clean and had lovely extra touches such a dog treats and a welcome hamper. We wish we could have stayed longer!

We had the most wonderful stay at Hazel’s cabin. It was so cozy and peaceful. The garden was perfect for my 3yo and there were loads of lovely walks and even a playground nearby. We were in easy distance to access lots of places both locally and further afield. Biggar had some lovely places to eat - we followed a lot of Hazel’s recommendations in the guest book and they were all spot on. We also travelled into Edinburgh which was super easy as we used the park and ride service nearby. A little further afield was the Falkirk Wheel and the Kelpies which I would highly recommend taking the time to visit. Hazel was a lovely host. Always responsive and very welcoming when we arrived. We didn’t need anything during our stay, but it was well communicated that she was available if we needed her. The cabin was so beautiful and clean and we couldn’t have asked for a better place. This was one of the most amazing places we have stayed. It’s actually the first place we have booked via Airbnb and we were originally a little sceptical about how it would all turn out. However from the moment we arrived we felt so welcome here, from the beautiful welcome hamper to the private woodland surrounds it really was a lovely place to stay. We were all very sad to leave at the end of the week. Highly recommended to all my friends and family and would book again in a heartbeat. Truly one of those must book places.

Amazing porters lodge, beautiful attention to detail, very comfortable. Hot tub was an absolute treat. All the facilities to cook during your stay. Perfect place to escape for a relaxing weekend with some lovely walks on the doorstep. Will absolutely be back one day!

Great place to stay, everything was clean and comfy. Lots of room, nice hot tub with a great view over the town. Lots of horses on site which adds a cool element to your stay. Good size kitchen and living room. Highly recommended.

Initial impression: WOW. Luxury scandinavian lodge and massive (for a 2 bed) to boot. Huge amount of private space and the private facilities are what you hope for in a 5* luxury hotel. Lodge is a little dated with some weathering but that didn't detract from the absolute quality of the lodge. Holiday was absolute hit with us and our 6yr old daughter. Gave us the relaxation we needed and the space for the young one to run about to her hearts content. We all loved it immensely. Hope to return there again.

Really enjoyed our stay for a family celebration, great open plan kitchen, living, dining and garden lovely for spending time altogether. Flexible bedrooms - able to make one a twin. Clean, well equipped and luxurious feel. Two full bathrooms. Street is quiet, feels safe and parking easy, no shops, cafes, bars etc. within close walking distance. Bus or Uber both easy to get into city centre and was nice to escape the hustle and bustle after a day sightseeing and at the festival. Suspect price was higher due to time of year and compared to other properties we viewed were very happy we chose this one. Rachel was very prompt with communication, instructions, restaurant recommendations and help when required.

What an amazing property, the views are outstanding. We hosted a weekend for our family to get together. All bedrooms and bathrooms were clean. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking, and the dining table was perfect for hosting family meals. The views from the property were outstanding, and we all enjoyed using the hot tub.

The house was spotless. The hot tub ready for use on arrival which I he family appreciated. Not far to the harbour and therefore a short walk to the pubs and restaurants. Would recommend it to anybody for a stay.

Amazing house with lots to do. The room at the top of the spiral stairs was just a bit difficult to get into and out of, with low ceilings, and it gets warm up there. One more bathroom for that number of bedrooms could be nice... but it all worked out. It was pretty close to perfect for our family reunion. And it's great for hide and seek! We recommend it.

Myself and my partner had an amazing time here from arrival till we left. Leigh was nothing shy of being a fantastic host! She made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed and always responds quickly if you have a question or need something. The cabins were pristine and beautiful. Couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful and comfortable experience. Would highly recommend and we will certainly be back in the future.

Staying at this cottage was an unforgettable experience. Nestled in the heart of peaceful farmland and surrounded by rolling hills and mountains, it truly felt like we had our own private slice of the Scottish countryside. We spent hours just soaking in the views, it honestly felt like we owned the meadow and the open fields beyond. Pure magic. The cottage itself is cozy, beautifully designed, and perfectly equipped. Even though it’s technically connected to the hosts’ home, we never once felt our privacy was interrupted. In fact, we didn’t see anyone during our entire stay, it was incredibly quiet and serene, just what we were hoping for. Highly recommended if you’re looking to unplug, recharge, and surround yourself with nothing but nature. Thank you so much, Jenny & Michael!

What a wonderful stay we have had, blissful tranquility personified. Perfect location, function and relaxation. Lovely spot with homely settings surrounded by chickens, sheep and horses… all well designated boundaries for our little Shorkie pup to learn the ways of life. The cabin itself was immaculate, dreamy fixtures and fittings with discrete mod-cons. We were there in summer but winter months would be totally covered!! The hot-tub is one of the best we have ever experienced. Super high pressure jets, fun features with bath tap-like flow and spouts of water etc. LED propaganda. And full blown jacuzzi experience. The attention to detail is profound. Little multi-tool accessories in the kitchen for grating, cutting pizza, all sorts. All sockets have USB. One could go on… Most of all, there was attention paid to shower pressure!! This is the make or break for Haley and I and it was well covered! Quality materials from present-less hosts, delivering quality present perfection.

If you read my comments then you’re looking for a place please listen to my advice don’t jump this cabin the place is amazing the facility are the best Sama really taking care for each detail I’m sure I will comeback again this place is unbelievable I spend the best 2 days of my life here and I’m serious the hospitality is amazing. The swans there the best in UK. Congratulations for that level of standard Sama.

We had a beautiful holiday here and Rosie and Jim were more than accomodating. The lodge was stunning, comfortable and the views/animals are truly stunning. Rosie is an amazing host who greets you with as much information as you wish when you arive then leaves you alone to your own devices unless you need to contact her. Which is perfect if you are looking to keep private as the lodge itself feels very private. Finally the surrounding areas are just a short drive away and I highly recommended Coulter Fell if you are up for a hike! Thank you Rosie for being an incredible host and for allowing us to stay at your beautiful lodge. It made this week truly magical for me and my family.

Great place for a day or 2 away from everything. Lovely view of the lake which is literally opposite your lodge. would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice secluded overnight. Hot tub was amazing. Perfect temperature and big enough to fit 5 people if needed. Can't fault it at all and would definitely return. Local shops only 5-10 mins away for everything you need.

Fantastic location! Felt like home away from home. Samantha was extremely helpful with the amount of information she provided when we first booked. Would definitely recommend this anyone looking for a quiet cosy weekend away!
