Scotch Cove Retreat is our beautiful seaside cottage on the south shore of Nova Scotia in Mahone Bay. It has tons of spaces, gorgeous ocean views, "pool hall", artist's studio, and private dock on Scotch Cove only minutes away from hiking trails and the sweet town of Chester. Situated steps away from everything Chester has to offer, this fully renovated 150 year old home allows plenty of room for a large group. There are several sitting/living rooms on the main level as well as a beautiful new kitchen with a large island. The original wood flooring has been restored throughout and the bathrooms have been thoughtfully modernized. There are 7 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms.

A very cozy and peaceful place to base any vacation on the South Shore out of. Very close to hiking and ATV trails. No visible neighbors from the yard, lots of wildlife. Large parking areas. Interior is a mixture of new and re purposed materials. Appliances are small but functional, all the comforts of home but smaller. Double bed is incredibly comfortable. The Blue Cottage

The Atlantic is what you see the first thing in the morning from our over 100 year old Nova Scotian house. We take great care to keep the old part of the house as original as possible. We live in the attached part of the house. We run a small hobby farm with some chickens, 2 sheep a dog and a cat. The whole property, including the pool, the fire pit and the kids play area is fenced in.
