Relax and recharge with the family in the peaceful and picturesque village of Aith. This is our family holiday home, close to our family in the quiet and friendly village of Aith, Shetland. It is a great location as the village has a shop, Leisure Centre, Harbour and Marina, play park and is a 5 minute walk to the fantastic ‘Michael’s Wood’. This award winning woodland and trail was planted by family in memory of our cousin and so is a really special place for us which we hope you will enjoy.

The Waddle is a traditional Shetland croft house, refurbished to offer a homely and comfortable stay for guests. Situated in a peaceful, quiet, remote location just over a mile from the nearby village of Walls, tucked in under the hill overlooking a sea-loch, it's a perfect place to enjoy Shetlands wildlife, scenery, peace and freedom. The Waddle is situated on an active croft. We have approximately 250 sheep with lambing in the spring, silage baling in the summer and feeding in the winter.

Please be aware that there are two sets of steps to get up to the cottage (27 in total), so it may not be suitable for people with mobility issues, or prams/buggies.

The Chalet is located in the quiet backstreets of Scalloway. Shops, restaurants and other amenities are only a short walk away. The Chalet itself is fitted out to a modern standard and is warm and cosy. The accommodation space is a bedsit format, with separate kitchenette and shower room. There is a double bed, and tucked away there is also a single bed if required.
