No words to describe this utterly glorious place. The views, the ambience, the comfort. The magical garden with the glorious birdsong and Kruger in front of you. We could not have chosen a more glorious place.

Had an amazing time! The house is in the most beautiful place, with stunning views all around. Balcony has a beautiful view, especially at sunrise as well as the mountains behind. Adolf is incredibly hospitable and helpful with local recommendations. The house is even more impressive than the photos! Ideal location for exploring Blyde River Canyon. Was an amazing time away!

Perfect place to stop off in graskop!

I was worried that the house wouldn’t look as nice as it did in the pictures, but wow, it was even better in person. It is a stunning place. Open plan and beautiful, it brought the outside in. It was peaceful and animals happily wandered past. The stars at night were just insane!! It’s in a really great spot, but also close to amenities. Will definitely be back!!

Panos was an excellent host and the place was better than the pictures. The location is great for a quiet getaway from the city life and has breathtaking surroundings, you fall asleep and wake up to the soothing sound of a running river. Effective and responsive communication and any damage we caused was clearly communicated. One of the best places I’ve stayed at this year so far a real 10/10

Fine house, thoughtful and very helpful hosts. Decent kitchen and braii, good wine glasses - these are the things that matter! The wildlife visiting the deck was a treat - feeding kudu from a bucket, zebra from the hand - carefully… For those who don’t know Marloth Park, it’s a large, secure, gated estate. Walking after dark is discouraged because there’s a small risk from predators, not crime…. Two supermarkets, butchers and the pub are a minute’s drive away. Hope to make a repeat visit soon.

The thoughtful gesture of the birthday balloon and champagne to celebrate my birthday was so kind and very much appreciated. The place itself was very nice and comfortable, and smelt good, the kitchen was well-equipped with all the necessary appliances, which made our stay even more convenient. We have just come back from spending nine unforgettable nights at Penzhorn Rest Cottage and it exceeded all of our expectations - even better than the photos! Zonja, our host, welcomed us warmly on arrival and was so accommodating to make sure we were happy throughout our stay. Her hospitality has honestly blown us away! The highlight of our stay was the daily sight and sound of the river with nightly hippo visitors which added such a magical touch to our stay, immersing us in the beauty and awe of the African bush. Whether enjoying a coffee while reading by the river or relaxing in the ‘bosbad’ every moment felt really special to us! Zonja’s meticulous eye for detail was evident in the small touches around the cottage which made us feel right at home. This is a haven for nature lovers seeking a luxurious yet authentic escape. If you decide to book this listing you won’t be disappointed! We left feeling rejuvenated and are already looking forward to returning!

We had an amazing stay at Shabbat Shalom! Our family was so blessed with the peacefulness and calmness of The resting place! We enjoyed using the swimming pool in the scorching Nelspruit heat and really appreciated every effort Abrie and Annelise made to make us feel more than welcome! Thank you to our amazing hosts! We will definitely be visiting them again!

Amazing place. Ahh. In the middle of nature, amazing hosts, kept seeing giraffes, safe feeling and such a wonderful place! We sat around the fire every evening listening to the nature and my husband playing guitar. Our souls really rested. The kitchen is very well equipped and the bed is comfy. Had a swim in the river in the morning and then a hot shower on an outdoorsy feeling bathroom- is there anything better than that. Also: hosts are amazing. We had such fun conversation and the feeling is very homie. The road is gravel road but easy to drive even with a low car. Can't wait to come here again for a longer time! Also, the welcoming committee, named Maxie (the little dog) is the best welcoming ever.

Absolutely loved my stay at Klaus and Ridwaan's cabin. Cozy and fully-equipped cabin nestled up on a hill with beautiful views. Easy access to multiple nearby gate entrances to the park. And Ridwaan & Klaus were delightful hosts and it was a pleasure to get to meet them, made the stay even better 😊 I'd love to come back someday. Highly recommend!!

We initially booked another unit and got an unexpected upgrade. What a fantastic experience! We'll undoubtedly visit again. They were very responsive, and extremely proactive with communicating everything we needed to know. Even small requests were attended to before we got to the location. The check-in was smooth and effortless and we absolutely enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen in the unit. The firewood had been arranged prior to our arrival, and it made it so easy to start braai-ing. The underfloor heating was a pleasant surprise. We also received great ideas for activities in the area, including hiking trails on the property, which also made for a fantastic experience. We did no regret the trail and had fun exploring the various ruins on the mountain. We woke up to stunning views and had complete privacy for our stay. Sammy was very helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend. You will NOT regret this experience.

Incredible little spot. The log cabin was very peaceful. Really awesome kitchen. Fully stocked and easy to use. With a view of the Emu outside. The bathroom has a giant tub and is decorated tastefully with enough big towels. The rooms were just perfect and comfy and the sheets soft. Wish we had more time to stay there. The Cabin does get a little hot in the afternoon in summer but cooled down by night time. Surrounded by a beautiful pond and gorgeous nature. Lovely spot to eat outside. We could spend hours just soaking in the surroundings. There were game animals around the farm we saw regularly on walks. The farm was simply pastoral.

Serene and beautiful escape from the city and town. Ideal for just relaxing with a good book and resetting. Lovely nature and birds all around. Walking trial with the river only a couple of meters walk from the cabin. The road is a bit rough and the road works to get to the destination is a bit of a pain. I am sure once the road is fixed it will be an easy and smooth drive though.

We really liked the stay, they where very attentive with us and we loved the place, surely we will return with more people so that they also know the place

This was the perfect escape from the big city and the cabin is so gorgeous! This place is beautiful , clean , safe and Albie is such a friendly guy. We would definitely go back to visit again 🥰

Wow, what a gem of a cottage with an amazing view and nice peaceful private space to relax. absolutely spotless and well catered. Dick was very friendly and helpful and it was a smooth pitstop for the night. Highly recommend this place. 🙂
