It is from the top of the dune that you can enjoy the sunrise, sundowners or whale watching in season Pennington is 80 kms from Durban & 600kms from Johannesburg. Derwent House

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay, close to the beach with a sea view. whole top floor of the house. 2 Bedrooms, one kingsize and a further bedroom with a double and single. Kitchen, Lounge, bathroom and separate w.c. Lovely balcony with sea views and space for a small bbq. Use of the covered veranda and fire pit areas. The functional kitchen with all the basic necessities will be all you need to create a romantic dinner, or even just a coffee for yourself - both of which can be enjoyed with a tree-top view from the deck. The shower is surprisingly spacious and the gas geyser ensures hot water always. This space aims to delight and invoke a sense of serenity as you focus on the basics.

There is a separate open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area. The lounge has a sleeper couch for the kids.
