Campamento Río Blanco is an incredible location. The view of El Yunque and the valley and the Caribbean Sea is amazing. However, don’t expect a complete isolation. It is right next to a road that leads to a large community so there are some cars and trucks that go by especially during the day. There are also street lights. Great for feeling safe, but not for stargazing. The actual owner is Don Orlando. He is very nice, but no one greets you when you come in. It’s a self check in with a padlock and gate system. There is lots to do in the area if you love the outdoors. Hiking, visiting waterfalls. Swimming and cool mountain pools or the ocean. On your own firewood. The water is potable. I drank it for nine days with no problem. Need a mosquito net if you plan to sleep in hammock. The nearby corner store and bakery (colmado) is very friendly and has most of the basics. The road access is extremely steep and curvy so be prepared. But paved so 2 wheel drive ok.

One of Humacaos best kept secrets! the rooms is spacious, clean and modern, and super cozy to have night-long uninterrupted sleep and feeling fully rechared in the morning. I have repeated my stay multiple times and ill be sure to repeat next time around.

This place was fantastic if you want to feel connected to nature and the forest side of the island. The Airbnb does provide everything you need and some extras. There is not much internet or signal there so if you are looking to disconnect this is the place! Communication is great! I got lost but they responded quickly and helped me find the location. As far as cons, we did have power issues considering electricity its battery and solar operated. Not sure if perhaps there isn’t much direct sunlight there to keep the power running through the night because by close to 11am power was back up. It did not bother me but be aware if buying food that requires cooking or staying refrigerated. Showering it’s outside for the Domes, so come with a bathing suit. They are private but you do have visibility to the other people staying in the property so you can be seen showering. The sound of nature it’s strong and loud, you’ll find lots of Coquis and wildlife on the property. It’s Amazing!

Favorite spot of our entire trip over 7 days in Puerto Rico! Perfect spot for your inner "glamping" itch where you feel immersed in the country side with your own family of chickens, peacocks, and a cow! The included breakfast delivered by windowside was a great touch and falling asleep to the coqui songs was sublime. Thank you!

A truly amazing experience. This place is located in a magical Hacienda. The ambiance here is very peaceful and you feel surrounded by nature. Juan will greet you when you arrive. Very friendly. The place is very neat and comfortable. Great air conditioning too. Beds were clean and confortable. Plenty of space and trails to walk around. Day or night. I hadn’t seen a firefly in ages. We felt very safe the whole time. And the Horseback trail rides are a must. The place has a neat pool to cool down after an afternoon of exploration. Several places to eat nearby too. We tried Bacoa and Georgie’s Pizza. Both awesome. Incredible experience. If you want to Discover the heart of Puerto Rico and its countryside this place is indispensable.

We had a great experience staying at this place! It’s located in the rainforest, has great views, you can hear the sound of jungle at night which is very relaxing. The chalet seems to be pretty new and was very clean. The beds were comfortable too. The road to this place is dark at night, and has lots of bends. We didn’t have any issues though, you just have to be careful driving there especially at night. Host was very responsive and accommodating. Instructions were clear, and easy to follow. Overall it was a great experience, and we had a lot of fun!
