Our yurt is located in a pocket of trees next to rolling farm fields and beautiful conservation land that the Rocklyn creek meanders through. You can prepare your meals in a sweet outdoor kitchen that is entirely screened in- or choose to sit by the fire. Bruce Trail access is just around the corner, and the towns of Meaford and Owen Sound are a short scenic drive away.

"Forest Yurt" at Belleisle Bayview Retreat

Summer season open from (May 8 - Oct 31, 2026) and Winter Season (Jan-April weekends only). We offer one night stays! Enjoy this secluded off grid (solar powered) cosy yurt, eclectic furnishings - situated in a private forest environment. On the deck a BBQ with cooking utensils and patio set are provided in summer - no water during winter season (Nov-April 30) - a small chemical toilet is provided. We provide bedding, water in buckets, a simple kitchen, a battery pack for string lights, and a sauna for warming the bones. We encourage and cater to silent-sport type of guests as we have kind and close neighbors on all sides.
