We'd a lovely long weekend in Elie. The house is in a perfect location, close to the beach and the Ship Inn as well as the bus stop to get to other villages along the coast. The house was well furnished and had everything we needed. It was a perfect home away from home.

We absolutely LOVED staying here. It was truly incredible! The host, James, is genuinely so kind and thoughtful. He always responded quickly and when we got in a pinch, he was proactive and super helpful. The loft is so beautiful - I wish I could live there. It is an easy walk to anything you want to do in the city. It’s close to everything and in a gorgeous part of town. If you’re coming to Edinburgh, you MUST stay here. It is truly breathtaking and exactly as promised online!!

Judith's flat is a lovely place to stay for a few days relaxing and walking in Elie. You are not more than a minutes walk from the coastal path and harbour, ideal for holidays with dogs. There is plenty of free parking nearby. My dog also really enjoyed the safe, enclosed, sunny garden. The flat is clean and comfortable with everything you could need for a long weekend, and extremely quiet. Judith is welcoming and responsive and very easy to communicate with.

Kelly's 1 bedroom place is a lovely place to enjoy the Fife area. The view is superb and the space has everything you need for a short or longer stay. We wished we would have booked more than a night.

Perfect cosy home from home, right down by the harbour in picturesque Pittenweem. The place was spotlessly clean and fully equipped with everything you would want for a short stay, including fridge, microwave, toaster, hairdryer etc. Olivia had thoughtfully provided tea sachets and also a couple of Tunnock's teacakes, which were thoroughly appreciated! Very happy to recommend the Old Rope Store to solo travellers visiting the area.

Fantastic property. Accommodated eleven people with ease. Everything was as described. Tara responded very quickly to a small concern we had. Lovely people at the Elie Deli and Ship Inn made our stay memorable We would highly recommend it as a place to stay and hope to return soon.
