Chalet D is set in the idyllic Highland setting of Heatherwood Park behind our sister property Chalet C and a three minute drive or a 25 minute coastal walk from Dornoch town centre. This will be Chalet D’s first season on the short term rental market as we’ve just freshly redecorated the property with a modern cosy feel. Perfect for any party of four, Chalet D has its own highchair, cot and dog bed so we’re prepared for any precious member of your party whether their toes be small or furry.

Make your break simple in my calm, 2015 built, well insulated, warm holiday home, all on one level. A 5 minute walk into Dornoch with its stylish Scottish stone buildings, Cathedral, pubs, restaurants, cafes & gorgeous independent shops. Its one mile from the stunning beach and famous Royal Dornoch golf course. The house is our personal respite holiday home away from our Scottish Highlands rewilding croft 15 miles away. Coastal Cottage

Wester Lonemore is a large, south facing cottage. This cottage enjoys a superb setting, with incredible and far-reaching views across the sea to the hills beyond. Large windows drink in the seascape and ever-changing views of skies and sunrises. The country gardens are a real feature of the cottage, attracting many species, including goldfinch, curlews, oyster catchers, osprey and red kite are seen close by. Surrounded by nature. A short walk down to the secluded sandy bay of Dornoch Sands.

The chalet is all on one level apart from 4 steps up to the front door,it has been recently renovated making it a bright airy modern space. We are situated outside the town of Dornoch about 1 mile north as you drive towards Embo.
