Holiday rentals with lake access in Emmet County

The home was clean and welcoming! We appreciated the binder that gave reccomendations and instructions for everything. The air purifiers came in handy with the air quality alerts we’ve been having. Everything was cozy and as pictured! Thank you for having us

Returning to this place is like home. Very nice and peaceful. The lake was good to us this year, fishing was good and had some fantastic sunrises. Looking forward to planning for next year.

The cabin was cozy and had great views. Parking is a bit limited if you have more than one vehicle but we made it work. Robert was great at responding to all my questions. There was also plenty of staples like salt, pepper, toilet paper, paper towel etc. I would definitely rent this place again.

The house was amazing! The set up was perfect. It was bigger than it looked in the pictures. We really enjoyed our stay!

A delightful cottage on the Bluffs of Lake Michigan. You can hear the waves from the deck. The home was very clean and comfortable and perfect for our stay. We would highly recommend Lizzie’s home.

Holle House lived up to the description and more! It was a perfect home base for our Mackinac and UP adventures. Super clean, peaceful, and relaxing! And one of our top five AirBnB showers!

Bobby & Janet were highly responsive hosts! Great communication and easy check in/out. Place is exactly as described. The two queen room has an en suite with shower over tub. The hall bath only has a tub with hand sprayer. The outdoor spaces were absolutely lovely. With 6 adults, it was nice to have space to spread out outdoors. We enjoyed the fire pit, grill, patio sitting area and hot tub. The view was so pretty and relaxing! We were a quick drive to many restaurants, breweries and wineries. 10 min to boating on Lake Charlevoix or to Petoskey and a quick shot to Boyne City for kayaking and more exploring. Highly recommend!

We stayed over a week and the apartment was clean, comfortable and well located. Warning about church bells from two churches across the street; the church bells every hour from 6am. I happen to like church bells but my husband does NOT so that was tough for him.

Linnea was an amazing host! We did not arrive my first night until after midnight, and she went out of her way to buy and leave a frozen pizza, drinks, snacks, bagels, and bananas for us (because she knew everything would be closed once we arrived). Would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

We enjoyed our stay at the boathouse. It is our third visit and it never disappoints. The boathouse was clean and cozy. Pam and Dave are lovely hosts.

We had a great stay. The condo is in a great location between Petoskey and Harbor Springs. The condo was clean and had some great amenities.

Beautiful property and loft. Perfect for a couple. Hosts are so kind. Super cool outdoor space at the winery. Felt like I was in a Martha Stewart magazine! You see vineyards, chickens, sheep, the garden, lake in the distance. We walked down the county road to the lake in the evening. Petoskey is such a cute town. Took a trolley ride! So fun such a great trip.

Everything was absolutely amazing. They were flexible, accommodating, and understanding. The place is absolutely beautiful, just don’t forget to pack a sweatshirt as it gets a bit chillier than we expected at night. Great place to stay and hoping to go back soon!

Great host. In town for a soccer tournament and it fit our needs perfectly. The view was perfect for relaxing with a cup of coffee on the deck. Thanks Todd!

We had 2 adults and 3 teen girls stay here for just a couple nights to head to Mackinac. It was a pristine clean place. One girl slept on the couch but they did have a trundle bed in the bunk bed room. The directions in the book on the counter varied slightly from the Airbnb instructions. They were very thoughtful to put out a few snacks and waters to. They also put out a coupon for a local restaurant but we didn't get a chance to use it. It was a great touch. It was warm one night we stayed. I wish there was a fan or two to help cool it down. Instead I put the window up in the bedroom but it got noisy from the road. We did find later a window fan that we could have put in but then that would only help one bedroom. It was really close to the boats to Mackinac. It was a little hard to find at first. Maybe a pic of the front would help. In the end, we really enjoyed it and it worked out pretty well for our short stay.

This house was so beautiful. It had everything we needed for our family to stay. Kids had so much fun with the water toys.

Perfect for our weekend getaway

I loved my stay in Linda's charming cottage, The Dollhouse. The house is so cute and very comfortable. It had everything I needed for my stay. It's convenient to downtown Charlevoix and an easy drive to Petosky. I would definitely stay here again when I'm in the area.

We had a wonderful time at the Round Lake guest house. Surroundings were beautiful, and the place was lovely. Hosts were so friendly and quickly responsive. Would stay again!

Freshwater was one of the best companies I’ve ever dealt with for a vacation rental. They are extremely responsive and took care of any issues immediately. Would definitely recommend dealing with this company for any rental they manage.

We LOVED our stay! Beautiful, relaxing, close to everywhere we wanted to be. We enjoyed a fire, while listening to the incredible sounds of nature all whilst the waves lapped upon the shore. Great place, would highly recommend.

This was a beautiful home located on a tranquil lake with serene views and so much local wildlife! My family spent a lot of time enjoying the outdoor patio, bonfire pit and watching swans, ducks and birds from the dock. The home itself has comfortable lounging space for a bigger family and includes a well stocked kitchen. The space is very clean. The local area has bike paths which are very scenic as well. Highly recommend!
