The nearby Puljutunturi is a great hiking destination. Not for hunting.

It is easy to make day trips from the cottage to, for example, Pyhäkerro and other nearby fells and nature trails, as well as to Norway. In the spring, it's a short distance, about 300 meters, to the wonderful Tunturi trails. Extensive interior renovation completed in April 2026.
