A self contained annexe with a shared entrance, perfect for couples with a view of the beautiful River Tamar, in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty also Weir Quay is a World Heritage site, ideal for walking, (we are on the route of the Tamara coast to coast walk, get in touch if you would like a 1 night stay) there’s fishing, boating wildlife and bird watching, avocets,oystercatchers & curlews Come and try a kayaking trip just outside the door on the River Tamar which can be booked with us.

Gooseland Cottage sits on the edge of the River Tavy, close to the village of Bere Ferrers, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to Dartmoor National Park. Tides allowing, enjoy sailing, paddling, or swimming - within yards of your door. Or just soak up the view and read by the woodburner. A bird watching haven - egrets, swans, geese, avocets, osprey, European roller (2023) and this year ... a sea eagle! Masses of walking trails and cycling.

It's an ideal base from which to explore Cornwall (only five miles away), Dartmoor, and the wider south Devon area. Sorry, no group or party bookings. One-night bookings are available on request, subject to a 50% premium. There's no self-check-in facility, as we like to welcome our guests face-to-face.
