Hot Tub Cozy Cabin by National Forest

This Cabin is one of the original cabins in the area located about a 3-4 minute walk to the trolley stop to the Ski area. It was one of the first three cabins to be built in the surrounding blocks. It's a very Dog-friendly spot because it has a very open fully fenced-in backyard. A walking path near by next to the national forest. Most houses in Big Bear do not have AC. This one has both a fireplace and an AC unit. The hot tub has a temp limiter to prevent people from burning themselves.

This home is a true gem for anyone seeking peace, comfort, and a cozy atmosphere in the heart of nature. The mountain views are absolutely breathtaking—especially from the hot tub on the deck. It’s the perfect place to unwind after a day in the fresh air. The interior is beautifully designed: a spacious living room with high ceilings, warm wood paneling, a fireplace, and stylish furniture create an ideal space to relax. The bathroom feels like a private spa—minimalist, elegant, and soothing. One of the biggest highlights was the fully equipped gym with dumbbells, a bench, a punching bag, and even a sauna—an extremely rare find on Airbnb. Everything is thoughtfully arranged to make you feel at home (or even better). If you’re traveling with kids, this place couldn’t be more perfect: safe, spacious, and inspiring. The host was also incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you for such a memorable experience!

I debated writing this review for selfish reasons, as I’d love to keep this gem off the radar and available for future stays. That said, this was hands down the most thoughtful and well designed Airbnb my girlfriend and I have ever experienced. Every detail of the property feels intentional. The pool is serene, the outdoor shower is unexpectedly freeing, and the hammocks offer the perfect place to unwind. The appliances are modern and function flawlessly, and unique design elements like the bed and dining table crafted from railroad components add incredible character. We were escaping the hustle of Los Angeles and staying at another Airbnb when we found this place, and it completely transformed our trip. It’s hard to describe the feeling we had walking through the door, but the look of surprise and awe on my girlfriend’s face said it all. The name of the property couldn’t be more fitting: Unexpected. We miss it already and can’t wait to book again.

Wonderful stay at this Big Bear cabin! The family loved the spacious interior which gave us plenty of room to relax together. Everything was immaculately clean - from the comfortable bedrooms to the simple yet spotless bathrooms. We enjoyed the board games on the TV, and the Wi-Fi connection was reliable throughout our stay. The property feels very private, which added to our relaxation. The abundance of windows let in beautiful natural light and offered lovely views of the surroundings. Our host provided excellent communication - extremely responsive and on top of everything we needed. The location is a little bit of a drive from downtown, which makes it perfect for those seeking privacy and quiet time away from the busier areas. Overall, a fantastic experience. Highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful retreat in Big Bear!

This was a great space!! It met our needs perfectly, it was cute, in a great location, and steps away from a few different hiking trails which was something we were looking for. The host was incredibly accommodating and very responsive. We would definitely recommend to friends and family!!
