If you plan to visit the historic sites in Istanbul, Giorgio’s place should be first on your list of places to look at. Located within walking distance of the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, the Palace, the Grand Bazaar and more, Giorgio’s apartment was an ideal spot for what we wanted to see in Istanbul. The apartment was clean, the bedrooms spacious and the hosts were super responsive. Communication was quick and helpful. The airport transfers for three day stays and longer made check in a breeze. And Giorgio arranged for return transfers to the airport (for a fee). This made checking out a breeze. There is a fantastic restaurant 10 meters from the front door (Begonville Cafe) where the workers treat you like family. Overall, our visit to Istanbul was stress free in part due to Giorgio’s apartment. We had a great experience and would recommend anyone to stay at Giorgio’s place.

The flat was a perfect place for our family to stay for 10 days. It was in a fantastic area within a short walking distance of the Galata area and a 5 minute walk from the tram stop, from which is was very easy to get to the Sultanahmet area (or you can do the longer walk across the Galata bridge!). Ömer was extremely helpful and responsive, and made us feel very welcome.

Ahmet Bey son derece kibar ve yardımseverdi. Her şey için tekrardan çok teşekkür ederim. Evi çok güzel bir manzarasına sahip. Bahçede oturup keyif yapmak muhteşemdi. Sessiz sakin ama merkeze yakın olması çok güzeldi.

Ev çok güzel bir bölgede, çok güzel bir evdi. Küçük çocuklu ailelerin dikkatli olması gerekli çünkü evde çok fazla aksesuar var ve çocuklar çok meraklı. Bir de böcekler konusunda fobiniz var ise biraz sıkıntı yaşayabilirsiniz. Yataklar çok rahattı, fazla havlular sağlanmıştı.

This was the best apartament in Bakirköy, very spacious, clean, and the design was really modern :D, with an unique mirror-finished walls in the hallway and in the living room, our host was very friendly and provided useful informations, she waited us to come at the place. Overall this apartament offers what you need, and is perfect for bigger families, near to the shopping areas, the park, and to good restaurants.

Özlem is a considerate host who reacts quickly to any question you have. The room is authentic Turkish with a certain style. It is located in this beautifull neighbourhood Balat, which is a vividly area in Istanbul and a must see when you visit. I recommend this place. The only thing the keep in mind: it is an old building so the traffic causes some noise. Best to bring some earplugs if you are a light sleeper.
