This small (200 sq ft + 80 sq ft sleeping loft), Adirondack style cabin was completely refurbished this past year using locally sourced woods and built by hand. Located two miles from downtown Keene Valley, and at 1800 feet, this is an ideal place for those who prefer the quiet forest, the peaceful sound of a mountain brook, and possibily seeing animals.

Quaint Cabin in Schroon

This quaint, rustic, one room log cabin was originally built for overflow family during the summer by my father. The cedar logs were cut from our property giving it a truly authentic Adirondack feel. The cabin sleeps 1-3 people. It's located on a large, beautiful piece of property with two main houses, a barn and garage. You are within walking distance to our private swimming hole and beach. There is a horse arena nearby. This is a great location for many attractions in the Adirondacks.

Keene and Keene Valley trail heads are only minutes away. The cabin has 3 acres of wooded property with a front driveway as well as a back access drivweway which is nice to walk. Come let the tranquil noise of our river lul you to sleep in the fresh Adirondack mountain air. Lots of hiking, boating, rock climbing and mountain biking near by. Only 25 minutes to Lake Placid ( home of two winter Olympics) for some of the Adirondacks best restaurants and tourist destination. There are NO trash facilities on site, so if you pack it in, pack it out!
