Located in a safe neighborhood, on a quiet street, within minutes of down town Andalusia, (Candyland) restaurants, city parks, grocery stores and the hospital. 75 miles from the beach. Free covered parking as well as a fenced back yard. This entire home is family-friendly and great for long-term or short-terms visits.

If you want to escape traffic and people, this is the perfect place. Destin, Pensacola, Navarre, and Fort Walton Beach are a quick drive away. Beautiful local parks and rivers are within 5 minutes. This is the place for hunters hunting blackwater! Blackwater State Forest is steps away from the camper and river, just a two minute drive down the road. The 2022 camper has new linens and pillows, super clean and stylishly decorated. The full-size bunk beds are roomy and comfortable.

Our stay was great! Melissa and her husband provided us with a place to store our boat trailer during our stay, as parking is in a shared driveway. The online pictures do not do the place justice. Our expectations were exceeded, as the overall property is beautiful and well kept. Great place to bring the family or just couples retreat. Easy access to the water, beautiful sunsets and in town dining only 10 miles away. We will be back again.

We came in town for a concert at Wind Creek Casino which is about 25 minutes away. Exactly what we needed after an exciting concert. So peaceful and serene. Definitely book if you want something off of the beaten path. I can see myself going back for a weekend to regroup. We traveled three hours from home for this event.

This was a celebration weekend. My husband and I’s anniversary and my birthday. We brought our two children. All four of us thoroughly enjoyed the whole weekend! It was exactly as described. Very clean and the pictures do not do the view justice. We spent the daylight part of the day outside. The evening was spent in the homie TV area watching movies with the beautiful lake view behind us. My husband and son had a fishing pole in their hands the whole time outside. They caught a variety of things! My kids loved the kayaks and paddle boards. They had a blast jumping in the lake too! We grilled out and had everything we needed to do so. Plenty of all the basic necessities and more. Any questions I had were answered in a very timely manner. We look forward to coming back!

I can't say how wonderful our stay at John boy's place was. We came here because of the accessible shower- my Dad is bed bound and hadn't been able to get under running water in over 2 years. It was such a load off of my mother and I to be able to shower him and have such a nice comfy hospital bed for him. Plus be able to roll him down by the water. We ate, kayaked, played and got the much needed rest for our minds and souls. My dad, who has the beginnings of dementia, noticed how comfy the hospital bed was and said he liked it. He also loved sitting by the water. He remarked about how peaceful it was. I got to see relief in my mom's eyes and she was even dancing in the kitchen, which I haven't seen her do in years. I can not say enough good things about this place. Stay here, you will be well taken care of.

Spacious home at a quiet exit right off interstate. Very clean home. There is a fun market store right across the road that is great for breakfast, lunch, and has many goodies. Be sure to try the pretzels and cinnamon rolls!! Great place to stay!

The lake house was beautiful, peaceful and picturesque views from the back porch. We were just passing through to the beach and could have stayed here longer. Easy to find, the host was a great communicator, everything you need for a simple life at the lake! The back porch and lighted stairs to the dock at night made for the prettiest views. The linens on the bed were AMAZING! Specifically the comforters. We would love to come back and stay for a long weekend
