What you'll do
We will meet at the Visitor Information Centre and then be treated to a 2-hour culinary journey of the Fort & Blanshard corridor, just minutes from the downtown core. Once known as Antique Row, this is now the trendiest food neighbourhood in the city. You will be treated to 7-8 local hidden gem culinary stops and get a chance to meet the owners and chefs, buy local foodie gifts, and learn more about the history of Victoria. Our first two stops are on historic Broughton street where we will sample some delicious chocolates from a famous Canadian chocolate maker and follow that up with a wine tasting of locally made BC wine. Who doesn't want to start a tour with chocolate and wine! We do have a non-alcohol alternative, a locally made soda from Phillip's brewery. We then stroll along Fort and Blanshard and learn more about the history of Victoria and get a chance to see iconic St. Andrew's Cathedral and the historic Royal Theatre. All of the other foodie stops are local small businesses serving up delicious food including pastries, tacos, Middle Eastern street food, a modern Asian-inspired tea, and more!
