What you'll do

The meeting point will be the Retiro Train Station in Buenos Aires. First, we will take the train with destination to Mitre, to then make a transfer to the popular Coast Train and enjoy the beautiful waterside view of the River Plate. We are embarking on the trip as locals do. The arrival point is the Delta Station. We then head on to a quick round to the touristic Puerto de Frutos. It will be a short stop, as the plan is to focus on the off-the-track treasures of Tigre. Our next destination will be the vibrant Tigre Art District. An area where antiques, street art, and murals gather, you will discover the emergent art scene in Tigre. Here we take a break with a fresh or hot drink at one of its fine restaurants. Also, you might have the chance to meet the artists in the center of this art scene. Afterward, we will go to the Historic District of Tigre, an area in which occurred several events in the context of the British Invasions of the 19th century. Gorgeous green spaces, canals and colonial architecture will make part of the landscape at this point. If there's time remaining we can finish our trip walking across Paseo Victorica, ending at the exquisite Museo de Arte de Tigre. The beautiful river canals and Tigre's elegant architecture will be the perfect contrast to finish this journey. And if you're hungry, you can have lunch in one of our recommended spots!

Your hosts

We are Luis and Juan, and we have teamed up to offer an eclectic experience. Luis is a seasoned photographer and architect, while Juan is an international affairs specialist. We both are storytellers: Luis is dedicated to portraying moments, while Juan's passion is conveying historical and cultural essentials. We want to make our guests discover the vibrant Tigre River Delta, which gathers exotic nature, a vibrant arts scene, and elegant architecture, all in the same place. Through the eyes of a creator and a social commentator, you will discover the not so well-known secrets of Buenos Aires northern suburbs. We are embarking on an off-beaten journey to discover the hidden treasures of Tigre. Among them, there are the vibrant Boulevard Saenz Peña artsy scene, the colonial Museo de la Reconquista, amongst others.
