What you'll do

You'll be welcomed into our home and given a tour of the fields, animals, greenhouse and orchard as we get acquainted with one another. Then we'll retreat to the porch for a charcuterie board comprised of fresh sourdough bread, pickles, veggies and cheeses, and locally brewed beer or kombucha. We'll then head to the kitchen to learn how to make a seasonal, traditional dish; such as red chili chard enchiladas, tepary beans, and a goat milk flan for dessert!
  • Passionate cooks

Learn traditional recipes and hear personal stories from local hosts.

  • Intimate settings

Share a meal in unique spaces, from private farms to secret rooftops.

  • Vetted by Airbnb

Every experience is reviewed for authentic culinary traditions.

Learn more about Zoey

Zoey

I am a farmer and food activist born and raised in Albuquerque. My husband and I manage 30 acres in Socorro, NM, and raise organic produce, chickens and Nigerian dwarf goats at our small farm in Albuquerque's South Valley. We are well known across the city for our fabulous pickles, fresh vegetables, and dinner parties! We highlight recipes that have been passed down by our mothers and grandmothers, incorporating seasonal ingredients freshly harvested from the farm.

What's included

Food
We will prepare a meal and sweet treat using seasonal ingredients from the farm. Local libations will be offered as well…

Where you'll be

We'll be in the heart of Albuquerque's South Valley, a traditional agricultural community. Our farmstead is a stones throw from the Rio Grande along a quiet street. We will harvest from our farm fields, prepare meals in our updated kitchen and break bread together on the porch along the garden.
