Wear light clothing, acceptable decent attire, comfortable walking shoes. Be a lookout on the weather as and when it rains, you may need an umbrella or a raincoat. Take Kelana Jaya LRT Line and head to Kampung Baru LRT Station (KJ11)

Where you'll be

We will be visiting the last Malay enclave here in central Kuala Lumpur to sample it's local life, culture and history. Along the way, stop to taste local street food, observe local life and visit a Malay home! We will then see Masjid Kampung Baru (since 1890's). It has recently been re-built, decorated with eye-catching tiles, rich in traditional Islamic patterns modern mosque. A hidden gem that is not yet over flocked by tourist.
