What you'll do
The popular Stretch + Snuggle class from the Brooklyn Cat Cafe is coming to you and your pets in the comfort of your own home. Round up your furry friends and let them virtually meet our rescue kittens (and rabbits!) via Zoom. You’ll learn how to use active stretching to help lengthen and strengthen your body. There will be time throughout to stop, drop, and cuddle with your pet and to connect online with other animal-lovers. Learn stretches to help prevent injuries, increase energy, and feel more in balance at home. This Experience is great for team-building. Co-founders of the Brooklyn Cat Cafe, Anne, Julia, and I have each fostered hundreds of rescue cats and kittens. We’ve rescued, bottle-fed, medicated, and loved more cats and kittens than we can count. We’ve created an adoption space over the last three years where our rescue animals thrive, receive endless affection, socialize with each other and visitors from all over the world, and find FUREVER homes. We’re the only non-profit cat cafe in NYC and we’re volunteer-run. Our core group of volunteer supervisors are experts and are knowledgeable and passionate about animal rescue.
Our cats & mats yoga classes are hosted by experienced and qualified yoga instructors, and are a relaxing and fun way to spend time with our rescue animals (always cats and sometimes rabbits) while getting healthy.
About the organisation
Brooklyn Cat Cafe
Brooklyn Cat Cafe is Brooklyn’s first cat cafe and the only cat cafe in New York state run by a non-profit animal rescue organization, Brooklyn Bridge Animal Welfare Coalition (BBAWC). BBAWC is a cooperative of individual animal rescuers working to reduce homeless animal populations through adoption, education, and outreach.
This is a social impact experience where 100% of what you pay for this experience goes to Brooklyn Cat Cafe.
