What you'll do
I'll introduce you to a few of the girls (our goats) and you'll get to watch them at their antics. Several are lactating after giving birth recently, and we'll milk one so you can see in real time what it takes to get enough milk to make cheese.
Later we'll move to my outdoor kitchen to make goat cheese along with some cheese dishes that you can make at home. If you want to make your own cheese right along with me, there's a list of things you'll need to get to be prepared. After this virtual tour, you will be an honorary member of our family and can come and visit us any time you are in Los Angeles.

For several years, I've hosted animal experiences for thousands of people on our organic ranch, two acres of heaven just outside Malibu, California. I live with a herd of fun and funky goats, pigs and sheep who are ready to meet and greet you in typical animal style--crazy, zany and unpredictable.
Several months ago during kidding season, a group of guests took part in birthing a new baby goat during their experience. I can't promise that will happen during your experience, but I can promise you a great time getting to know our animals, learning how we care for them and how they love us in return.
You'll see firsthand what it takes to keep a farm going and get a glimpse of what it's like to live an organic lifestyle in the middle of a modern city like Los Angeles.
