Your host
Matt
Greetings! My name is Matthew Maxey and I'll be your deaf teacher/ host as you embark on the journey of how to interpret some of your favorite songs with American Sign Language! I'll be co-hosting this experience with a fellow co-worker that is generationally deaf so that you get the most optimal version of this experience! As a deaf performer that focuses in sign language and music being combined, I have been featured on MTV, CNN, Cole Haan, GQ, RiseUp, and on tour with Chance The Rapper! I started up DEAFinitely Dope a few years ago to try to play an active role in merging mainstream culture and deaf awareness through sign language and music!
