I am a native of this wonderful city, I love my culture and I enjoy sharing it with new people. For ten years I worked as an art director for the most important tourism publication in Mexico and, at the end, I became a certified tourist guide. It will be a pleasure to show you how Mexicans enjoy our world famous traditions. In addition to this experience, I offer three more face-to-face experiences where I have received dozens of 4.9-star reviews and ratings: Downtown Mexico City (https://www.airbnb.mx/experiences/188098), Basilica de Guadalupe (https: //www.airbnb.mx/experiences/188858) and Castillo Imperial de Chapultepec (https://www.airbnb.mx/experiences/339749). What a wonderful treat! My group of girlfriends and I usually go out to dinner for my birthday, but because of covid, weren't able to gather in person. instead, we did this amazing experience! The extra fun part was that friends of mine who live far away were also able to join. Alejandro is incredibly informative, supportive, and personal and his storytelling while we were all in the throes of making our Piñatas was the perfect backdrop to this fun class. I can't wait to make more ... I can tell this is going to be a skill that I will use for years to come. What a memorable event. So grateful. 13/10 highly recommend!

This super fun experience was organized for a friend's birthday as a way for us to celebrate together even though we are far apart. For two hours it was the closest I felt to "hanging out" with friends the old fashioned way. Alejandro was an excellent instructor and had interesting stories about the history of the piñata. I would recommend it for all ages too!

Making pinata is much more involved than I imagined, but Alejandro led it through the steps beautifully. He also taught us the history of pinatas and some of the history of Mexico. He made sure he stayed on track and accomplished out goals. This was a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

Our extended family in 6 cities (ranging in ages from 4 to 75) gathered remotely to make piñatas & listen to Alejandro. Those who were not doing the project drank margaritas. It was a very enjoyable family night.

Alejandro did an amazing job of: 1. Communication- with us prior to the experience to ensure that we had all the materials we needed. 2. Engagement - Our 6.5 year old daughter had a great time setting up and making a piñatas 3. Storytelling - engaging way he delivered the history of piñatas 4. Thoughtfully answering our questions and sharing even more info on the beautiful Mexican culture.
