Moscow Street Art, Design & Wine

Moscow, Russian Federation

What you'll do

You'll visit Moscow's most bohemian district - Winzavod and Artplay. These former Soviet factories in the modern days have been revived as the centres of hipster culture, modern design and sustainable local shops. It is the biggest street art destination in Moscow, and a great place to explore alternative Moscow: modern, arty, creative.
We will discover the local artisans’ shops with one-of-a-kind items, often handmade (best souvenirs are here: earrings, postcards, pins, etc), we will visit the art and design galleries to enjoy the trendiest exhibitions, see amazing murals and street art that covers the walls making Artplay one of the most photogenic places of Moscow - and a real open-air art museum.
We promise a true off-the-beaten path experience for you (even locals easily get lost here - but not us!), a visit to a shop that features the works of artists diagnosed with ASD, and in the end we'll enjoy a delicious local snack just like a true Russian hipster in one of the best city's vegan cafes and try Moscow coffee specialty - raf coffee, that was invented in our city.

I had an excellent tour! Thank you so much and to the guide Elena in particular. On the tour we visited many unique areas and places, I wouldn't have been able to find them on my own. The tour has a good balance of walking and sightseeing, of checking the lovely stores and having lunch. Definitely a memorable event! Highly recommend to fellow Russian tourists and to foreign tourists as well!

Our guide was Elena, she was amazing, super kind, and informative. She has a great eye for contemporary art and showed us some nice galleries & spots that only local art fans know about, which was exactly what we wanted to see. She also told us a lot about history and took us to an old Russian winery. Both me and my partner loved the time we spent with her. If we had more time we would book another tour with her :) Her positive attitude is the best. Very recommended, Thank you Elena, and see you next year <3

I love street art so I was excited to find that there was a tour/guide whilst on my trip. We went out with the touristy areas where we wandered at a nice, relaxing pace. Some useful facts and history too. Off the beat, the streets were much quieter and at one point, I thought it was just the three of us in the city. In awe of the street art and the talented local artists/stalls and shops - could very easily have bought everything (resist)😁😉 Tried Russian wine for the first time and it was exceptionally good. As well as the vegetarian/vegan cafe that was the last stop after the tour - rounded of the tour and my day nicely. I’d highly recommend this particular tour whilst in Moscow 😀✌️👍

This was such a wonderful afternoon! Maria, my guide, was delightful: friendly, well-informed, energetic. Instructions and reminders on where/when/how to meet up were clear and helpful. We wandered through several Moscow art clusters (Arma, Winzavod, ArtPlay) had falafel at one of the original hipster venues (Fruits&Veges) and sampled some excellent Russian wine from Rostov-on-Don. This was one of the highlights of my trip to Moscow. Thank you, Maria!

Excellent tour -- this was not my first trip to Moscow and I was looking for something different. Definitely found it! Would recommend to anyone looking to see a new side of Moscow.

This is a great experience. We were led to three art spaces renovated from old warehouses/factories, and we tasted wine and local snacks (all very surprisingly tasty). Our guide Maria was also super helpful as well!
