What you'll do
Get ready to grab an apron and get dirty! This is going to be fun. You will be introduced to the art of wedging soft clay, most people find this the most tricky part of the whole process, but don't worry i will rescue you and guide you when it all goes wrong... we then ball it up ready for using on the wheel. I have developed a 4 steps to success process of teaching to throw a pot on the wheel so you only need to think about 1 thing at any one time. If you book this experience you will find out just how seriously brilliant this is... There will also be time to decorate your creations with colored slips and have it fired and posted to you at an extra cost. Most people are able to throw two pots and decorate them too. And I clean up all the mess so you get more time doing the fun stuff!! Do ask if me for other dates if you cant find one that suits you on the calendar.
I love teaching pottery and have been doing this ever since I got my BAhons and MA in ceramics about 15 years ago. I am funny, friendly and good at at making people feel relaxed! If you would like to check out more about what I do you can follow me on Facebook: Jane Scott Ceramics or Instagram : @Jane Scott Ceramics or look at my website: www.janescottceramics.com and you can easily find me on Google maps where you can read more reviews too.
