Richard

Born and raised in District 6, I have first-hand experience of the negative impact the forced removals had on the community. I am passionate about the rich and vibrant cultures of the district, which still finds expression in the townships on the Cape Flats. The power of the Apartheid regime with all its brutality and oppression, is diminished through the extraordinary capacity of forgiveness.
