What you'll do

If you’ve wondered what else there was on offer in Dubai away from all the 'glitz and glamour', then look no further. This here is a small variation from the Old Dubai Walking Tour, hosted particularly during the month of Ramadan, so that guests can witness what this holy month is all about. We’ll learn about the city's humble beginnings and its transformation throughout the sands of time. We’ll wander the souqs, meet the owners, and learn the secrets behind some of the world’s most expensive traded items. We'll hop on a traditional wooden abra boat (think Arabian gondola minus the singing) and cross over the magnificent Dubai Creek. Then, we’ll visit one of Dubai’s historical mosques to admire its stunning architecture and to learn the basics behind the Islamic faith. Finally, we’ll explore the Al Fahidi historic neighborhood, to hear tales of its former residents and to experience classic Arabian hospitality.

Nada

Marhaba! I’m Nada (definitely not ‘nothing’), a licensed tour guide and Chief Experience Officer at Wander With Nada Tours. I've grown up here in Dubai, a city certainly not shy of making headlines with its incredible attractions, and I love to show it off. The experiences I offer are not scripted, or ‘Ministry of Tourism’ supplied, but interactive conversations where I’ll share stories of the nation’s incredible history and transformation AND answer any of your curious questions. One of the best ways to get to know a city, is through conversations with its people, and I promise, my enthusiasm for the city is contagious.
