Cottage holiday rentals in Eyjafjörður

We had such a wonderful time at this amazing little cottage. It was so charming and comfortable and very clean! This gem is the best place we have stayed in this breathtaking country. We loved the hot tub and beautiful views. Amazing host!

It was the perfect quiet getaway we needed after the crowds of the southern part of the ring road. The cabin was beautiful and the view was spectacular. Getting to relax in the hot tub admiring the views and silence of nature was a key feature of our entire trip. Highly recommend.

Absolutely wonderful place. Exactly as described. Breathtaking views. Well equiped. Amazing deck from which to watch the fjord and a stunning sunrise. The hot tub was easy to use and a great asset to the property. Lovely walks nearby. Take the binoculars with you and if you spot a whale watching boat do pay attention to them, we saw whales from the island. 10min walk into the village. The Nespresso coffee machine was a lovely surprise (including a lot of capsules) Was hoping for a peaceful relaxing break and that is exactly what we got. Hope to come back again.

Our stay at Marino’s was nothing short of perfect — the picturesque backdrop to this stunning cabin was something out of a movie. I highly recommend this property to anyone spending time near Dalvík!

Super stay, completely modernized and everything was neat and clean. Nice jacuzzi where you can sit in peace and privacy. Lovely location with lovely views.

This was a great place to relax and unwind. The cottage is well designed with lots of space. Our hosts went above and beyond with some very special touches during the holiday season that made us feel very at home, away from home. It was a great stay!

Beautiful wooden little house. Very nice with everything you need. We were very comfortable and felt right at home. Surrounded by a beautiful environment, we saw the horses from afar. Due to the bad weather, we could not see them more or walk, but if we have the opportunity, we will return to do so. Highly recommend!

Had a great winter retreat at Lea's cabin. It's wonderfully located, with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. The cabin is equipped with everything you need, from BBQ to hot tub. Bonus points for the Northern Lights we got on NYE!

Beautiful and peaceful cabin in the North. The road isn't paved and the cabin isn't visible until after the gate, so go slowly if you arrive in a standard "tourist car". Amazing nature all around. The cabin is spacious, has a huge garden, and is equipped with everything you could wish for - except perhaps for a shower, but the pool nearby solves that issue. Self check in and out went smoothly. I just had to play a bit with the lock until it turned all the way and opened.

Gudrun’s place is exactly like what you would think it is based on the pictures - beautiful. From the hot tub, to the grounds (huge amount of open outdoor space - we went on a hike on the grounds) to the wonderful windows - this is a place you want to be at. We went during the summer when the sun never fully sets - and it really is pretty amazing. She cares about her guests, the space is well-kept and it is only a few minutes away from a city with some amenities (like groceries) in Dalvik. This is a great place, reserve it while you can!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this Airbnb! The space was incredibly spacious, neat, spotless, and comfortably heated, making it a perfect retreat after our days of exploring. One of the highlights was the breathtaking view of the fjords, which we enjoyed right from the cozy interiors. The kitchen was fully kitted with everything we needed, making it easy to prepare meals. There was also a beautiful patio with a BBQ setup—unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to use it, but it’s a great bonus for future guests. Our host was fantastic—super responsive, friendly, and generous enough to let us use the hot tub, which was a real treat with the surrounding views. The instructions in the guestbook were spot on, making everything from check-in to check-out smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, views, and exceptional hospitality. Would love to return!

I stayed a month with Walter and Jenny, nice and friendly people, always available. Jenny texted me when to see the Northern Lights and showed me around. I recommend it to everyone and will try to go back again.

We spent a week in the yellow house, and it was awesome. The house had everything we needed, and as a bonus, we could see whales while having breakfast. In this place, we were able to disconnect and merge with nature.

Definitely in the top 2 places we stayed in Iceland. Árni and Petra’s cabin is cozy, well equipped and comfortable. They were great hosts reaching out with clear instructions well before our stay started. The views of Akureyri were out of this world, and as we lucked out with some sunny days, the deck overlooking the harbour was a lovely spot. Don’t miss the host manual, they had some great local spots that we checked out during our stay.

The accommodation was perfect for excursions to Husavik or to Lake Myvatn. We really appreciated Unnsteinn sharing his accommodation with us. You can tell that there are a lot of good memories in here. The furnishings are personal and remind you of this. The view is great. It's great for watching the birds.
