Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Eyjafjörður

We had a great 3 day stay at Sveinns place in Akureyri and used it as a base camp for daytrips in the area/region. We were 3 adults and found the place spacious and clean with comfortable beds and large bathroom. Large kitchen with all the things we needed for our stay. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood 5-8 min driving from downtown Akureyri. There are grocery stores not so far from the house. We can strongly recommend this place.

Maison très agréable dans un coin paisible, illuminé le soir La cuisine était très bien et les chambres du même étage également, le canapé lit très confortable Dispose du e machine à laver et d’un sèche linge très pratique, de toutes les épices et condiments nécessaire De plus Margret était prête à nous modifier les dates d’arrivée à son logement suite aux intempéries et notre incertitude d’arriver le bon jour. Le seul petit hic concerne la chambre qui est au sous sol, très humide À part cela nous avons passé un super séjour dans le logement de Margret

Stayed here for (unfortunately only) one night with a group of six people. Lovely house, very clean and with everything you need. Enjoyed every second of it. Four people could sleep upstairs and two downstairs with two separate bathrooms. Two minutes walking distance from village centre, port and Hering museum. And a beautiful view over the city and the fjord. Big recommendation! :)

Our stay in Öxnadalur was one of the most impressive we’ve ever had. The house was charming and we felt immediately at home. The surrounding nature and view on the mountains is breathtaking! We spent hours sipping coffee at the fire place, while the wind and snow were howling outside or watching beautiful northern lights right in front of the door. Sif and Oli were always very helpful when we were asking for any help or recommendations. It is definitely worth a visit and a real adventure in winter times.

We had a fantastic time in the cabin, beautiful views, a fabulous Hot Tub. Loads of space to unwind & a great kitchen, we cooked every evening. Comfy bed, great hot shower & total peace and quiet. Used the Hot Tub every night, Stefan shows you how to fill it. Takes about 2 hours. We saw the Northern lights twice around 1030pm - Midnight. Great base to explore, Akureyri is about 90mins away through an awesome mountain pass. Check the road app for road conditions, we had all 4 seasons on the mountain pass!! Would definitely recommend a stay at this cabin. 3 welcoming dogs, Osk plus 2 others visiting & a very friendly cat, Sigga, who can open the door to get in. 😀

The home was great. Very clean and warm for great feel at home stay. It was a very nice home with everything you need for a great stay. Would stay again if ever able to come back to the area. Highly recommend if you have larger family, my wife, I and six children really enjoyed our stay.

Guðfinna ist die wahrscheinlich freundlichste Person in ganz Island, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Ihre Katze ist auch total lieb und süß. Das Frühstück war super. Man ist sehr schnell in Akureyri und trotzdem in einer sehr ruhigen und wunderschönen Umgebung. Ich kann sie nur empfehlen!

Wir hatten das Vergnügen, in einer sauberen und großen, geschmackvoll eingerichteten Ferienwohnung zu übernachten. Die Wohnung war äußerst geräumig und sehr gepflegt, was sofort einen positiven Eindruck hinterließ. Die Einrichtung war stilvoll und bot eine angenehme Atmosphäre zum Entspannen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die hervorragende Lage: Die Boote für die Walbeobachtung sind bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Für den Weg zum Supermarkt wäre aber ein Auto ratsam. Insgesamt waren wir äußerst zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt und können diese Ferienwohnung uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

This was one of our favorite stays during our trip to Iceland! Such a gem! The apartment was amazing with an incredible view of the surrounding landscape and very clean and modern interior design. They also have the cutest dog!! We also had the best view of the northern lights during our stay!

The place is in amazing location and you have everything you need, the house is big and nice we were with 4 it was more than enough. Petur is very nice and kind owner. Thanks for everything Petur!

The house was absolutely gorgeous with a very luxurious feel and all the amenities one could ever need. The host was very gracious and accommodating with excellent communications throughout the process. The house sits at the bottom of a beautiful snow mountain so the view is fabulous！

Even though the weather did not cooperate with our plans on this trip, having Soffia’s cozy apartment to come back to saved the day. This is one of the cleanest Air BNB’s we have ever stayed in. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bed was wonderfully comfortable, and the shower piping hot! There is a wonderful museum in Akureyri that has an amazing collection of maps and we loved Kaffi Ilmur for the delicious soups and pastries. Unfortunately we did not get to go whale watching because the weather was poor, but we can definitely recommend Baccala for the fish and chips! Soffia is an amazing host. She responded quickly to messages and was very, very thoughtful. We look forward to returning and cannot recommend Soffia’s cozy apartment enough.

Very friendly host, that quickly responded to our messages. We were able to book the place on a very short notice. The place was according to the description and we had a wonderfull stay there. The apartment is located on a quiet street, with almost no traffic. Downtown and restaurants are only a few minutes walk away.

Great place to stay in the Husavik area--very peaceful

sehr schöne kleine Hütte. unten ein Doppelbett und unter dem Dach zwei Einzelbetten. Küche mit dem nötigsten eingerichtet. Zu Fuss ist man schnell beim Hot Pot, der eine tolle Aussicgt bietet und den die Gäste nurtzen dürfen. Die Hütte ist sehr ruhig und privat gelegen. mit dem Auto nur 5 min nach Husavik und zur nächsten Einkaufsmöglichkeit.

Beautiful stay -enjoyed the view and location. We had a small issue with the water and we received excellent communication and made sure it was fixed.

Schöne und urig gemütlich Hütte. Toller Whirlpool auf der Sonnenterrasse. Badezimmer ist außerhalb, kurzer Weg über die Sonnenterrasse. War für uns aber kein Problem. Das Badezimmer ist schön geräumig. Ein Grill ist auch vorhanden. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Hosts waren jederzeit super erreichbar.
