Cabin holiday rentals in Falls Lake

The Narrows Nest was a fabulous place to stay. It is very close to the heart of Mahone Bay and allowed us to travel around different parts of Nova Scotia easily. It is a beautiful house, and we enjoyed every part of it!

It’s nice overall, we had a great experience. Place is cozy and quiet, close to the nature, plenty woods for the fire pit, it’s great for weekend gateway. Host is very responsive and friendly. It would be great if the amenities are a little updated, and have a dishwasher.

Kaitlyn and husband were fantastic hosts. Very neat and private exactly what we were looking for.! Thanks so much for being our host🤗

We had an amazing stay at Beth’s place!! Exceeded expectations, you can tell they put a lot of thought in making sure you have everything you need during your stay.

Was looking for a little peace and quiet while travelling and this offered exactly that! If you’re looking for the same, i would recommend it. Thank you John for the accommodation and hosting us while we were on the road.

Our second summer stay was just as wonderful as the first. More familiar this time, so the whole family felt right at home. Chris was once again very warm and welcoming in his communications. Look forward to our third stay next year if we can be so fortunate.

My friends and I had a wonderful stay here! It was a peaceful, serene place with ample space for our group size.

Log cabins at Hubbards are great! It was a perfect place to stay with friends for a weekend wedding at the Shore Club. Staff at the office were very friendly and even helped us out with poop bags that we forgot and a later check-out. Classic cottage vibes.

My boyfriend and I stayed for the weekend and had an amazing time! We took the kayaks out on the lake for a nice Fall paddle. The property was beautiful and there were lots of thoughtful touches. Shayma was easy to communicate with and very friendly. We would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at the lake! Denis was a great host and took great care of us as guests. The kids had a great time jumping off the dock, enjoying the playground, and countless games of washer-toss. The AC was lovely on hot nights and the beds were cozy and comfy. The bunkie was a fun added touch. We would love to stay there again!

Chelsey has developed an absolute hidden gem in Nova Scotia! If you are debating on coming here, don’t. The various types of tiny homes are incredibly unique, from all over the world. The bathroom facilities are excellent and the property has beautiful lake access, bikes, sauna, kayaks and so much to keep busy with. Super close to the valley for restaurants, wineries and breweries. Support this small business owner!

We had 2 lovely days at the cabin, which was as described, clean and cosy. Clive met us on arival and answered any questions we had. Lunenburg is close by and a great location for exploring all the coast roads and bays. We elild have no hesitation in staying there again.

Everything was fantastic . The place was clean and comfortable. Definitely will return. Highly recommended.

This cabin is in a very beautiful part of the world and is right by the lobster pound which made for a great experience. We were not prepared for how rustic the cabin is …. It’s not insulated so it was pretty chilly and we should have had the heaters set up. It was a nice stay and we did enjoy the space (particularly the beautiful hydrangeas) as well as the proximity to the ocean.

Janet Lynn sets everything up with loving care and wonderful attention to detail. The gardens and view together with the cabin are an oasis nestled in a lovely neighborhood just a short drive from downtown Halifax and anything else one could need. Felt very blessed to stay at what truly is a cozy cabin. It was a joy to wake up to the ocean view and close off the day in the warmly appointed cabin interior.

LOVED the Fish Store so much! Great views of the water, great hospitality, great fires with sounds of the ocean, cozy atmosphere. Great paradise away from home! Laura and Jeff were very welcoming and hospitable!

James’ cottage was even more beautiful than the pics. Tons of space for our group of 6 & the entire place was spotless. We recommend this cottage to everyone, we had an amazing stay.

Ideal location and experience. Nestled under a canopy of trees, the property and cabin were peaceful and inspiring. Positioned in prime walking location to restaurants, shops and the trail. The sauna was pristine and well thought out. Will return!

This was the perfect family getaway out of the city! Very peaceful and quiet cabin. We loved being able to sit out around the fire pitt in the evenings. Lovely area to walk- roads aren't busy, beautiful views of the lake. Highly recommend Pizza at Stews (local convenience store), it was delicious!

Great little cabin tucked in the woods on a lake. Seriously what more could you ask for. My friend and I left our men home and took off for a weekend adventure. This was an authentic log cabin experience and a great place to relax after spending the day chasing waterfalls. We had everything we needed. Ford is an absolute gem and very accommodating. Our only regret is not spending more time with him and Maisy who is a sweet friendly girl ( dog) who loves attention. If you are looking for a rustic quiet getaway I highly recommend this place. My sons and I stayed here to get an early start for the air show. It’s very rustic and a true Camp experience! We loved the bunk house but did not use the out door kitchen. The out house was a surprise as it was beautiful inside and not expected of a John! Great experience!
