Station Master's at Strathcarron Station is a luxury self catering holiday apartment on the world-famous Kyle Line, one of the “Great Railway Journeys”. Be the Station Master in this lovely two bedroom first floor apartment which has been restored to its former glory but given the contemporary touches that complete a relaxing break. Almost off-grid, it has a comfy bed, central woodburner and spectacular view. It's the perfect stepping stone towards the full off-grid experience, intended for people who are curious about living the off-grid lifestyle but also like to be able to charge their phone, boil a kettle and have a hot shower! Croft House Bothy in Heart of Highlands

The nearest amenities are 2miles in Evanton or 5miles to the ancient Burgh of Dingwall. Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat 9-5pm). My place is good for NC500 travellers, couples, and business travellers.
