Uber is the quickest, most convenient and affordable way to get around. The nearest hop on, hop off bus stop is 150m from the house. For public transport the nearest MyCity bus stop is 400m from the house. Cleaning and laundry service is available by arrangement The area is most central to all of Cape Town, set amid very hip and historic spots. The neighborhood is home to a large number of restaurants, cafes, and shops.

Beachball B&B is located in the heart of the old village of Kalkbay. Set on a cobbled road that ends in a short flight of stairs it is not a thoroughfare. It is within easy walking distance of the tidal pool, the park, numerous restaurants and coffee shops, and the mountain behind with walking trails.
