Apartment holiday rentals in Faro

We stayed as a group for a special birthday, as we were arriving late we asked the host to purchase a bottle of wine and some snacks for arrival (there is a welcome basket there also) and Marnix was extremely accommodating. The location is beautiful, views of the ocean and the beach is a 2 minute walk down the hill. It is a little bit pricey but I felt it was really good value as split between the group it was more than affordable but you do get what you pay for. There is an indoor and outdoor pool (we only used this on the last day). The location is a short walk into the new town strip area and around 7euros into old town via a bolt, this was also for x-large bolt as we were a party of 6. I would definitely recommend, it a beautiful villa, in a gorgeous location. Thank you for all your help as you are a very responsive host and so helpful.

This appt was perfect for group of six ladies! The property was extremely well equipped and the photos were extremely accurate. The hosts were always friendly and quick to respond. Lots of bars restaurants and shops all within ten minutes walk. Shop and bar/cafe less than a minute walk! I would not hesitate to stay or recommend this property!

The accommodation, as well as Fatima, are a dream!!! We would come again and again and can only recommend it from the heart.

A beautiful apartment located in a lovely complex. The pool areas were gorgeous and it was only a 15 minute walk to the beach. We loved our stay ❤️

Great apartment looks better than photos very tastefully done interiors very helpfull and responsive hosts we had a late flight and they allowed us a late check out till 5pm,very accommodating and also allowed us an early check in. Jorge's apartment is very nice, clean and comfortable. The apartment has great view and it is walking distance to Faro Old Town. We have enjoyed our stay. In addition, Jorge is an exceptionally helpful host, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to Jorge again for all the help he provided during our stay in Faro. On the day we arrived, he met us at the bus station and took us to the rental car place to pick up the car. At the end of our trip in Faro, he took us to the train station, and when we found out that all trains were cancelled that day due to a strike, he took us to the bus station and waited until we bought the right tickets and everything was sorted out. He treated us like family and he is the best host I have ever had in the past 10 years of Airbnb experience. Highly recommended!

We had a fabulous month at Jef’s place. The apartment was extremely well equipped. We had everything we needed in the kitchen allowing us to cook most days; we could cast our own programmes to the smart TV; the apartment was very comfortable and homely. Jef was brilliant - great instructions before arrival, a warm welcome and local recommendations, and immediately responsive to our questions. We couldn’t have asked for a better host. The apartment was in a great location in Quartiera - 50 yards to the local bakery and a short walk further to the nearest supermarket. The beach was a short walk away and everything we could have wanted was within easy reach. We found a parking space nearby every day. Thank you Jef for a relaxing and very enjoyable and comfortable respite from an English winter.

Have stayed at this accommodation before - modern, clean & very well equipped - in a quiet development that is easy to find & suited our trip (golf) The marina is nearby where there are countless good & varied bars & restaurants to try. If you want somewhere quiet but with lots of life within 10 mins then this is a good Algarve location - great base to explore a selection of high level golf courses. A great host & no doubt will stay again.

We would recommend this to anyone looking for a first class apartment in a fairly quiet location. The top floor balcony gives access for al fresco dining, sunbathing and evening chilling. The views are simply stunning. the apartment is perfectly located for a few bars, restaurants, and supermarkets. all literally outside your main door. The apartment itself is modern, spacious and perfect. we've stayed in a lot of Airbnbs and this ranks as one of the very best. also the downloadable instructions to get in are fool proof!! thank you

Natalia treated us exquisitely, even before our arrival, and we booked only 24 hours before. He responded quickly to the questions that arose before I finished the reservation, and I really appreciated that. She gave us flexibility with the arrival time, and sent us instructions on how to check in, and yet we had to call her and she was very kind to us. The accommodation on our arrival was equipped as we expected, clean and there in the living room you have a basket with a lot of recommendations for both gastronomy and experiences. The development is super quiet, the pool is spectacular. We've only been here for a weekend, but we're delighted. It'll be another of those accommodations that we'll save in case life allows us to return. I'm sure we'd stay here again. Thank you Natalia 😍

Paulo’s place is a good apartment for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It was located outside but still close to touristic areas, restaurants etc. You can easily spend more than a week here. His space was spacious and well-equipped place. We enjoyed ourselves and can recommend! :)

Rosa’s place was great and exactly as described. Very short distance to beach and town (~15 min). She had recommendations which we appreciated. Check-in was easy. The place was as described and Rosa was super communicative. We encountered some issues after checkin and Rosa handled them immediately, which was so appreciated!! The place was super clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for an amazing stay, Rosa!

Stayed here with my mate for a couple days. Really good location if you are planning to spend a lot of time in new town. Also a stones throw away from the beach. Plenty of food options near by in all directions. The places has all amenities you can think of and a TV with Netflix already loaded up. Comfortable beds and a nice balcony.

Marco's accommodation was really great. 9/10 points - why: I thought, according to the photos, that it was the neighboring house with a pool. We were on the first floor and actually I prefer to stay on the ground floor with my 5 year old son, which unfortunately was not quite clear. Top was: not even 5 minutes walk to the beach, great restaurants on the beach, expensive supermarket just around the corner. The apartment is super clean and the kitchen has everything you absolutely need for self-catering but nothing more, no pasta strainer and no lemon squeezer, for example. Tableware also minimally from the number of pieces (6 glasses). Marco and his mom are super nice and helpful at check-in, furthermore we did not need them, as it was not our first Portugal vacation. Price-performance with pool top - you can't rule anything out. Portimão is a great location, 50 minutes by car from Faro Airport and 30 minutes from Lagos. Best regards, Jessica & Family.

I can’t praise/recommend this property and Susana as our host enough, we were a group of 4 female friends travelling for a long weekend break away, from fantastic communication to flexible check in times, spotlessly clean apartment and complex, great accessories provided including pool towels and umbrella, everything is as described, the pictures do not do it justice, the apartment is much bigger than you expect with 2 balconies each side catching sunrise and sunset. We walked downhill to the marina and local supermarket/bar & restaurant and easily ordered Ubers back up to the complex, only costing a couple of Euros. An Uber into Old Town is just as easy to order costing approx 7€. The complex is very secure with gated/key access, it is quiet and respectful with a security guard walking round day and evening. We have had a fantastic trip and wouldn’t hesitate to book with Susana again, thank you so much.

Bruno’s place was exactly what was advertised. 10 minute walk to one of the best beaches in Europe and 10 minutes to city center. Perfect for my family and our short trip to Lagos. Bruno communicated daily and gave some tips about what to do in Lagos. Overall a great stay and would book again.

The accommodation, hosts, and location were all like a dream—filled with love and beauty. The owners were incredibly kind and caring, always helpful while also respecting our privacy. Our whole family enjoyed every moment, from watching the golfers to driving through the orange groves, and having fun on the trampoline and in the pool. Everything was top-notch. If I had to search for a negative (and I really had to think hard to find one), it would be just the occasional thought of whether a golfer's ball might come flying our way! 😂

Joao, Elsa and Danny’s communication and commitment to hosting is impeccable. From days before arrival to being personally greeted on the street and taken to the airbnb. It makes the world of the difference especially when arriving late at night. The accommodation was perfect especially with a baby at 11 weeks old. The place was spotless, bed very comfortable and amenities beyond what is needed in an airbnb but helps you feel at home. We especially loved the balcony furniture and the awning again given us having a young child it allowed us to sit privately and enjoy the weather. Joao and Elsa were incredibly kind and helpful on more than enough occasions and one of which we kindly had a drink paid for at a bar and another a bottle of local rose left at the door (which went down a treat!). Both my partner and I will hopefully be back next year and you can be sure this will be the first place we come looking. Thank you very much Joao, Elsa and Danny for making a special trip!

We had a great 10-day stay in Albufeira! The very clean apartment on the 13th floor offers a great view and is easily accessible by elevator. The pool area and the small gym were a real plus. The Sparmarkt can be reached in 2-4 minutes, Aldi is about 5-10 minutes' walk. We were particularly enthusiastic about the beach near the old town - our absolute favorite! We took the tourist train there or ordered a taxi via the Bolt app (2-6 euros). We felt very comfortable and would come back any time. Clear recommendation!
