Apartment holiday rentals in Faroe Islands

Vi er fire lærerstuderende, der har boet hos Annilisa i halvanden måned. Det var under vores praktik på en skole i Tórshavn fra oktober-december. På vores rejse fra Danmark svarede hun hurtigt og præcist på vores spørgsmål om indtjekning og lignende. Der var rigeligt med sengetøj og håndklæder, og der stod håndsæbe, badesæbe, toiletpapir og vaskepulver klar til os. Et par gange under opholdet skrev vi til hende med en lampe, der skulle skiftes og andre småting, hvor hun var nede hos os senest næste dag. Vi kan alle fire trygt anbefale Annilisa som vært, og hun er god til at komme og spørge, om du mangler noget, uden at det bliver for påtrængende. Der er kort til supermarked og offentlig transport. Séjour magique dans les îles Féroé. Appartement très spacieux, très propre et très calme (situé dans une impasse) au bout du port de Torshavn. Rannva et son mari sont très attentionnés. Des fruits frais nous attendaient à notre arrivée, plus plein d'autres gentilles attentions. J'ai très envie de revenir 🤗je recommande vivement

Fint sted med to separate værelser (1 soveværelse med dobbeltseng og 1 stue/værelse med en enkeltmands seng) Fin beliggenhed og udsigt! Veludstyret nyere køkken og gode parkerings muligheder. Vil bestemt anbefale stedet!

We had a wonderful stay at Samylyn´s apartment. She is a very nice, friendly and responsive host. She welcomed us and informed about everything we needed to know, and she was very helpful if we had any questions. The apartment was comfortable, nice, clean and had everything we needed and more for the stay. The location was perfect and it is very nice with the large windows in the living room with the view to the harbour. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Martin. L’appartement, attenant à la maison des propriétaires, est très bien situé dans un charmant village, paisible et bucolique. La vue sur le fjord est magnifique, et propice à des petites balades à pied en fin de journée. C’est une assez bonne situation pour rayonner en voiture aux quatre coins des Féroé. L’appartement est récent, très confortable, chaleureux, fonctionnel, propre et bien équipé. La cuisine est bien équipée avec tout l’électroménager et vaisselle. Salle de bain spacieuse et propre, avec lave linge et sèche linge. Bref, tout ce qu’il faut pour passer un très bon séjour et se sentir comme chez-soi. Seul petit point qui mérite d’être mentionné à titre informatif, le lit double est petit par rapport aux « standards européens ». Hôte réactif, instructions claires, checkin flexible par rapport à notre arrivée tardive et très facile. Nous recommandons à 100%!

We had a fabulous stay in the Faroe Islands. The apartment is clean, comfortable, and easy to find. Magnus was quick to answer any questions and truly cared that we had everything we needed. Thank you Magnus and Jonas!

Consiglio a tutti questo alloggio. L’host è molto disponibile, la casa è molto confortevole e con una vista splendida; è inoltre super attrezzata. In una zona comoda per tante escursioni. Super consigliato!

We loved spending a few days at this house. The area is beautiful and peaceful. The house is cozy, and Marna was always responsive and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our time and used all the amenities the house offered. We highly recommend this place for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

I loved Atli’s place. It is so lovely and comfortable. It has everything you need and a breathtaking view. Atli is also a welcoming and helpful host. I would absolutely recommend this accommodation for anybody visiting the Faroe Islands.

Charmant petit appartement parfait pour 2 personnes. Nous y avons passé 10 jours très agréables. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour cuisiner et profiter.

Ten minutes driving from Klaksvik, there’s also a public bus. Two rooms: one bedroom and one kitchen with a sofa that turns into a comfortable bed. Kitchen has fridge, microwave oven with two electric plates, plus some kitchenware. There’s two external bathrooms to share with three rooms.

Our stay in Arnafjordur with Atli was wonderful and we already miss our home away from home. To start, the location was just lovely, as we got to be metres away from the water and staring down a fjord whenever we looked out the window. The town was also conveniently close to Klaksvik yet was quiet, peaceful, and not as overly touristed as some other parts of the Faroe Islands. Regarding our host, Atli, he was incredibly kind, helpful, and charitable. To start, he welcomed us with free beer and snacks, and even offered us a free meal at the fish and chips shack he owns in Klaksvik (delicious btw). He also saw to any issues we had immediately, and allowed to use the building’s washer and dryer for free. Long story short, we cannot recommend staying here enough.

Vi har kun godt at sige om denne lejlighed. Den er super hyggelig, rummelig, meget ren, privat/stille og udstyret med alt hvad man har brug for. Komfortable senge. Dejlig tagterasse med en fantastisk udsigt. Perfekt beliggenhed, tæt på havnen, butikker og restauranter. Billederne i opslaget stemmer helt overens med virkeligheden. Beatrice gav gode tips til, hvad man kan udforske på Færøerne, restauranter m.m og svarede meget hurtigt på spørgsmål. Vi havde nogle skønne dage, og vender gerne tilbage til det naturskønne Færøerne og denne lejlighed igen.

Great apartment and great location! Definitely recommend!

The apartment is very comfortable and cozy, I felt immediately at home when I arrived and settled. Even though it is small, it has all you need: kettle, kitchenette, silverware, mugs, cups, etc., comfortable sofa/bed, big table and good chairs, useful cupboard and beautiful view on the surrounding houses, good heating system (extremely necessary there since the temperatures are usually low and it rains a lot, so there are always shoes or clothes to be dried) I really loved the big window in front of which there’s the table and also the little bathroom even if it hasn’t much space it is arranged in a smart way and you can enjoy also the shower! Needless to say, I felt in love with this place and also the neighbourhood around, all the little shops in the center. I hope one day to come back to Tórshavn and stay there!

We loved staying at Benita’s place. Benita left us snacks and drinks upon arrival and was super responsive to any questions. The ocean view out the window was terrific, and the place was great to come back to after long days of walking, hiking, driving around the islands, etc. And it’s just a quick 5 minute drive into Torshavn, or a 20 minute walk. Everything was just as advertised!

Hans upgraded me to his bigger caravan a few meters away so my comments are valid for the other caravan not this one unfortunately. Hans was very friendly, welcoming and great to chat to. He gave me the full instructions on how to refill water and the little tips and tricks for a comfortable caravan stay. It was spacious and had all the amenities you would be needing for a short (or longer) stay like fully equipped kitchen. It is really easy to find and location is ideal walking distance to city centre, shops, cafes, park, art gallery. First time in a caravan for me and it was very comfortable - would recommend to anyone :)

Osvald has been a very welcoming host, always available and kind. His flat was warm, clean, comfortable and easy to find, made us feel as at home. Washing and Drier machines availability has really been the most valuable facility of our stay
