Christian s'est montré bienveillant dès la validation de la réservation, tout au long du séjour et ce jusqu'à notre départ. Soucieux de notre bien-être, disponible et agréable. Cette bienveillance s'est faite aussi ressentir à travers l'équipement de la maison. Et la literie est excellente ! La maison est située dans un lieu calme avec vue magnifique sur la mer. Nous ne regrettons pas notre choix et y retournerons avec grand plaisir ! C'est un lieu, une location et un propriétaire que je conseille vivement ! What a lovely place in an equally lovely setting. We really enjoyed our stay in Kvívík The Airbnb was a true gem. The traditional Faroese architecture seamlessly blended with modern comforts, provided an authentic yet luxurious experience. The interior was tastefully decorated, creating a cozy and inviting ambiance that made us feel like home. Would love to return. Thank you Súsanna.

Rúni’s place was perfect for our family of four. It was immaculately clean on arrival, and his communication was great. We especially loved the walkways behind the house and the location being so close to the capital. Highly recommend staying here.

Można się poczuć jak u siebie w domu:) Przestronny, nietuzinkowy dom. Idealny na pobyt z dziećmi. Można zobaczyć jak żyje rodzina z Wysp Owczych. Naprawdę unikatowe doświadczenie. Asa przygotowała dom pod nasz pobyt w sposób niezwykle dbały, mając na uwadze to że będziemy z naszym 15 miesięcznym synem. Bardzo polecamy to miejsce. Bardzo dziękujemy za gościnę

Vi havde et skønt ophold i Gunnvás bolig. Vi følte os virkelig hjemme i de dejlige, kunstneriske omgivelser. Tórshavn centrum var desuden indenfor gåafstand. Vi kommer gerne igen!

L'emplacement est magnifique, face à l'océan avec deux chemins d'accès au bord de mer. Deux fenêtres donnent de la salle a manger sur l'océan. Tout est très calme et l'activité à l'étage très modeste et tout à fait supportable, pas gênante du tout. Le salon est un peu sombre, pas orienté vers la vue mais très confortable, avec des plaids et de confortables coussins. La literie est excellente, et la salle de bain fonctionnelle. la décoration est adaptée et de bon goût. La cuisine est très bien équipée, cafetière, grille pain, bouilloire, micro-onde et lave-vaisselles. Nancy nous a bien aidé lors du marathon afin que nous ne soyons pas coincé par les barrages. A recommander sans hésiter.

Frida's cabin was one of the most beautiful places we've ever stayed! The cottage was so inviting and cozy. It had everything we needed for our stay in the Faroe Islands. It made for a great base for all of our hikes in the area. It was lovely to relax here as well, and listen to the birds, wind and rain. The area was so scenic and serene. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a quiet retreat.

We hadden een hele fijne tijd. De hytte was van alle gemakken voorzien en met aandacht ingericht. Fijne haard! Ondanks dat wij midden in de nacht pas aankwamen na een enorme vertraging konden wij de hytte goed vinden dankzij de foto’s die Ása had gestuurd. Het enige minpuntje was dat je boven om bij je bed te komen heel erg gebukt moest lopen, zeker voor iemand van bijna 2 meter was dat lastig.

Our stay here was a true highlight of our trip. The fairytale village of Elduvík is in a stunning location, and Aksel’s cottage occupies a prime position at the edge of it with breathtaking views of the ocean and the sheer rocky flank of neighboring Kalsoy island. You are located right at the start of a flat path leading to a gorge where we enjoyed cold plunges and watched a seal which Aksel told us loves to be sung to! Elduvik is the perfect base for day trips and even hikes that start right from the village. The cottage itself was more spacious than I expected. The high ceilings with exposed birch bark were beautiful. One of us slept in the loft which was quite comfy! I appreciated the outlet and lamp right at the head of the bed. The kitchen is tiny, but we cooked several successful meals and Aksel generously lent us some cooking oil from his house next door. He also gave us some delicious Faroese salmon he had smoked himself. Book the cottage and stay as long as you possibly can.

We stayed at Susanna’s place for 3 nights in May 25. It is a very comfortable and cosy traditional house which is equipped with everything you can think of. Susanna is a fantastic host who hast been more than helpful, attentive and very responsive not only this time, but also last year when we had to cancel our trip because of the general strike in Faroer. A true superhost!
