Picture yourself enjoying breakfast or grilling the trout you caught that morning on the deck watching rafters, kayaks, and fishing boats drift by. This cabin was built in the 1940's and though it's original charm has been preserved it has been updated to provide many modern amenities and comforts.
“Spent my 27th birthday here with my partner! ♥️ We loved our stay here, We have stayed here under previous ownership and Rachel really added something special to the space! There were renovations and new decor, thoughtful touches added left and right. It has curtains now! And the old beauty room turned into a functional space where you’re provided things you might need during your stay. I can’t rave about this place enough 10/10 chefs kiss* also if you post pictures be prepared to have a handful of people ask you where you were! only thing is next time we are for sure staying much longer! It was only available for that 1 night so we took it cause we knew it’d be worth it either way. But we REALLY didn’t want to leave! Also you will want enough time to truly enjoy the cabin itself AND go out and enjoy the river, hot springs, waterfalls and other local goodness. Already looking at the calendar trying to figure out our next trip! ✨ Jess & Elijah”

“Iron Forest Cabin was such a beautiful space. It was great being able to accommodate adults as well as children. My friends stayed here for my wedding and absolutely loved it. Great location to head out from to go sight seeing, fun to be had inside and out, the kids made s’mores and everyone had such a great time. The host was easy to contact as well! Would definitely recommend :)”

“The river and the cabin are so beautiful. I think the pictures don't do it justice, especially since they've added some new decorative touches and new patio furniture. I think it's a great spot for a romantic getaway or for a small family. Loved BBQing on the back porch. I appreciated the thoughtful things like towels for the hot springs, games, dvds, etc. The host was helpful and responsive. One note for people who are light sensitive while sleeping (I'm not) but there aren't blinds on the big beautiful windows. Bring an eye mask. I also brought a box fan which worked great for drowning out road noise. My only other thought was that I wish it had a couch instead of arm chairs, but that's just because I have a bad back and like to recline at the end of the day. The bed was nice and comfortable and soft sheets. We'd definitely come again! Hiking to Blue Pool was amazing. Cougar hot springs was an experience in nakedness, ha ha! Enjoy!”
