We stayed in the clover cottage, host is so welcoming and friendly, made us feel very welcomed. Cottage is lovely and the goats and horses are an amazing add to the stay

Great stay at Jennie’s house. Loved the location for Sherwood Forest, Nottingham Castle and the Tramway Museum. Kids loved the garden and hot tub and the beds were comfortable. Would recommend.

we had a wonderfully chilled break. Fully kitted out kitchen. hot tub great plus having a private bbq and private terrace was a bonus. animals great fun, plenty of parking. Bedrooms are all spacious and comfortable. would highly recommend and we will definitely come back again.

The perfect stay! We had a fab time in Amber Lodge and it was kitted out with everything you’d need - the kitchen was super well equipped. The hot tub was a huge bonus and lovely place to chill out in the evenings. The beds were all really comfortable & everything was spotless when we arrived. Farmer Vic was lovely & helped us out when we arrived. Plenty of parking & easy to get to. We had SO much fun meeting all the animals (even as a group of eight 25 year olds) and thought the lodge was a perfect base to visit Bakewell and the surrounding areas! Can’t fault anything and would highly recommend this place.

We’ve just arrived home after a wonderful stay at Petra’s property. The house was very clean, beds comfy and had loads of stuff for a baby/toddler which was very helpful! Petra sent us lots of places to go and see and we did most! Thank you for having us and we look forward to returning soon! Sophie, wills, Betsy, saffron and holly.

We really loved our stay at Ryecroft Lodge, we were visiting Download festival nearby in Donnington and it was wonderful to have somewhere like this to decompress and relax between the festival days. The house is beautiful, very thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed and wheelchair accessible too. Caroline is a great host, giving great, clear instructions and checked in with us at the beginning and end. Thank you, we hope to return again!

A lovely stay! 6 adults and 3 dogs stayed here and we had plenty of space. The lodge was comfy and clean and had everything we needed! Lovely location with lots of walks but also really close to Bakewell and Buxton!

We had a lovely time staying on the boat. Sharon was really helpful from start to finish. Everything was set up for our stay and we had a great time. This trip was myself, my brother, and my Dad, so two of us used the bedrooms and one of us slept on the sofa bed in the living room. There were ample blankets, cushions, and pillows for all three beds. The amount of space on the boat was great for us. I think three single people was the right amount for the boat, or four people if they were both couples. We entertained ourselves with food and drink on the picnic bench above the deck, and watching TV below deck. There was a strong WiFi signal and the streaming services on TV worked fine. Being on the Trent meant it was easy to go for a walk. We must have covered 8 miles on Saturday, along the River and into a couple of villages. All in all, we had a great time and would love to stay again on the future.

Visiting the area for our granddaughters wedding at Stretton Manor Farm . Thoroughly recommend this beautiful cottage if attending a function there. The cottage was perfect with everything you could want for an idyllic stay . Cannot recommend it enough! Fabulous x

I had a wonderful stay here — the house is cozy, quiet, and full of warmth. It reminded me of my university days in Nottingham, and for a few nights, it felt like I had traveled back to that time. Thank you for creating such a comforting space. I’d definitely love to come back again!

Great hosts!! Really friendly, responsive and caring! I booked this for family visiting Nottingham for the first time and I’m glad we did! My family felt right at home and were delighted with their stay! They were very comfortable staying in this private annex and really liked the homely touches and warm welcome they received from the hosts. They said they would love to stay here again :)

truly a home from home it has every thing from airfryer to washing machine. Angela is really an amazing lady, providing welcome gifts,plus tea, coffee and fresh milk. great after a long journey cuppa and feet up. we would like to keep this a secret but it's too perfect for anyone to missout on. nook up you won't be disappointed

In a beautiful part of the country The Old Mill and Cottage was a perfect setting for a family get together. The large lounge and big table in dining room meant that we could all be together! Plenty of bedrooms with crisp white linen and an abundance of towels. There was plenty of crockery and utensils for our gathering of 12!! Terence and his wife made us very welcome and he even brought a bottle of wine for my husband as it was his 70th birthday! I would recommend if you are looking for a lovely place to stay that is a very reasonable price. Thank you Terence.

Very good accommodation in a central location only five minutes or so from Derby town centre. Comfortable beds and a generous supply of towels. As what's offered is one of a number of apartments within a large block, the image on the posting may be slightly different from the apartment you are allocated. NB Although the description states that Netflix is provided, you have to bring your own login.

Really enjoyed my stay here it was everything I’d hoped for and more… I had time to reconnect with nature and my family and disconnect from my phone. Jane and her family were very accommodating and friendly throughout. Felt completely relaxed throughout and right at home. Highly recommend C Brumpton butchers for cakes, pies, preserves and all round good fare. And Naturscape Wildflower Farm and Tea Rooms - handy stop for a cheerful lunch on the trip home. Will be back!

Rosemary's apartment is fabulous, within a beautiful historic building in amazing gardens and the surrounding village and other nearby villages are fascinating and very sociable with fantastic real ale pubs and restaurants. There are interesting and beautiful walks in all directions without needing to get in the car. Lovely peaceful views from the terrace. Everything you need is in the apartment and it is ultra quiet at night, the best sleep ever. Rosemary is a very thoughtful host, allowing privacy but offering assistance and warmth. There's plenty of parking and great access to local and regional buses and trains not far away. Thank you
