We had lovely week at the cottage, it was very comfortable, extremely dog friendly and in a lovely location. Loads to do in the area, beach and forest dog walk galore. Elgin is only 10 minutes away and has a number of large supermarkets and shops. Very enjoyable.

We loved this beautiful lodge and it’s many lovely features. We had the privilege to stay here for a few weeks and it instantly felt like home. So many thoughtful touches, so well stocked, and comfy. My little one loved playing in the yard and trees. Jen is such a lovely host and it was an absolute pleasure to communicate with her. We are full of gratitude for our stay here and truly appreciate finding a place to call ‘home’ as we searched for ours. I’d stay here many times over for holiday, quick getaways, or long stays alike. Thank you Jen for offering such a lovely, peaceful stay.

Stayed for 5 nights playing golf in the surrounding area, absolutely perfect place for what we needed. Parking on the street outside the property and a pub 1 minute walk away was ideal. Local shops, restaurants and takeaways only a 2 minute walk away. Would not hesitate to book this again and Sue the host was only a messsge away if we needed anything but we didn't as everything was provided for us. All in all it was a fantastic weeks golfing capped off with a perfect place to stay. Thanks Sue.

As newcomers to Findhorn we found the location both beautiful and unique in its layout and closeness to the sea. We enjoyed exploring the many back pathways and tiny streets while making our way to the lovely beach. Our first evening was spent watching seals on a sand bar beyond the entrance to the bay. Lily cottage is very well appointed and contains everything needed for a perfect stay and more. The design and attention to detail is first class and we intend to pinch a few ideas such as the electric window blinds and the fabulous fish in the bedroom. The local amenities are excellent especially the Bakery / Deli which is literally just round the corner. Frindhorn is ideally located for visiting other lovely villages and attractions along the coast. We will definitely visit again. Thank you Helen and Fred

David's apartment was superb. It was immaculate, extremely well equipped, exceptionally comfortable and provided everything we needed ... and more. The location was perfect - just a short distance from Inverness, in beautiful surroundings and central for exploring the surrounding towns and areas. David was proactive and very responsive with his communications. He went way above and beyond with everything. Every large and small detail was covered. David and Lisa were extremely friendly and helpful and their hospitality is unmatched by anything we have previously experienced. They were very thoughtful and generous with the provisions and little (and not so little) extras such as home baked bread, milk, eggs, butter, spreads, an array of teas and coffees and more. The Condo is the best Airbnb accommodation we have stayed in and we have stayed in some very nice places over the years. I would give it more stars if I could.

We had a lovely stay at the cottage; it was very welcoming, with lights and heating on, fire laid, and everything for a nice cup of tea with biscuits - thank you! Beautiful views, and such a peaceful location with great walking and cycling possibilities. The beds were super comfy & the cottage well kitted out. Can highly recommend The Abbey Inn, Kinloss, for great service and food too! Tesco and Forres town are only 2 miles away so very convenient too. Thank you for a wonderful, relaxing holiday.

We stayed here for a week with our grown children and their partners. Alasdair's cottage was perfect. It immediately felt cosy and comfortable. The games barn was a fun addition, and a great place to store our bikes when not in use. We got the hot tub going and once up to temperature it was easy enough to keep it ticking over for several evenings. The kitchen was well appointed, enough utensils, crockery and pans for us to cook each night. The cottage is next to open fields and farm land with quiet roads that lead to Cublin Forest. This was an amazing place to explore on foot and on bike, especially the peninsula that runs along the Findhorn Estuary and into the sea. Deserted beach and inquisitive seals. We also drove about an hour north to do some hiking at Glenmore in the Cairngorms. After our busy days adventuring it was always great to return to the cottage to relax and sleep soundly in the super size comfortable beds.
