I was welcomed by the wife when I arrived she made me feel so comfortable and Thabiso made it more more easy to feel welcomed their care and openness to me as a guest was something else, the room was clean, everything was up to notch I never once complained about anything, the host contacted me in a matter of seconds when a slight inconvenience occurred and it was fixed immediately, he even went out his way to make sure we travelled home safe and when an unfortunate mistake occurred he showed genuine care and was able to help I felt like I was at home rather than at a guest house, the house is certainly worth more than the advertised price I would and I will highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Vanderbijlpark on any time of the year.

My stay at Odelle was pleasant. I requested pots and a stove and she arranged for me and even offered to store my food in the freezer. She offered laundry services as well. She really went an extra mile to make me feel home. How could I forget she left ginger tea for me at my door since was not feeling wow Thank u for being a great and warm hearted host.... Definitely coming back!!!

Our hosts were absolutely wonderful! It truly felt like a home away from home, with every amenity and utensil you could possibly need – from a fully kitted-out kitchen with all the cutlery and cleaning products to fresh linen and alternative heating/cooking. There are options for EVERYTHING, ensuring our comfort no matter what. We had such a warm and relaxing stay, and we can't wait to come back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Upper Room is a gem. I have stayed in a number of places in Bloemfontein, and this is definitely one of the best.

The apartment was exactly as described – clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. I loved having a fully equipped kitchen! What really stood out was how welcoming Marli was. She was incredibly responsive and made sure I had everything I needed for a smooth stay.

We had a lovely stay at this unit. It was neat, clean and extremely comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. We were there during a cold snap, so the gas heater was lovely. Mandy was a great host. We have no hesitation in recommending this unit.

Really loved our stay at Ladene’s place. Place was clean and homely. Ladene is an amazing host too. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

If in Bloemfontein I would recommend staying at Marie’s place. Very spacious and clean and airy.

The photos looked interesting and the reviews were fantastically positive - then the reality? Absolutely splendid! 10/10 - minus nothing! We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was spotless, cozy, private, safe, and secluded, with thoughtful touches throughout. Everything we needed (and more) was provided. Michelle was incredibly attentive, offering great advice and quick responses, and Vincent and Nadia were so kind helping us when we got stuck in the mud. Such warm, welcoming hosts. In a nutshell - spectacular! Rina is a very friendly, helpful and accommodating host. The home was super cosy and had more than I needed! There was quite frankly nothing that one would lack. As someone who cooks a lot, I had a beautiful kitchen with everything one may need and more - a wonderful area to work in. It was a peaceful, quiet environment and I felt right at home. All-in-all, an exceptional place and extremely affordable - it's quite ridiculous how well priced it is considering what you get. One of, if not the best Airbnb's I've stayed at - and would recommend to anyone visiting Potchefstroom!
