Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Fremont County

This is our third time staying at Jackie’s rental. We love the location! Walk out the front door and you’re a few steps to the restaurants, shops and entertainment. It’s a perfect spot for our family- including our dog!

Great little place, value was good. Tom sent messages before hand about how to check in, which made it seamless when we showed up.

It’s the perfect location on the trail not far from downtown. We walked everyday.

One of my favorite places that we stayed. We were looking for a practical and quiet refuge to regroup from family celebrations. This fit the bill in all ways. It was comfortable and clean, conveniently located, and EASY. It was especially nice to have a pet friendly place that didn’t have evidence of all the pets before. And nice, thick TOWELS for days and days. How nice to have enough towels! ::hoping other Airbnb folks take note:: Karen was welcoming and warm and I am 100% positive that we will stay here again when we visit family in Salida.

This was the perfect place for our weekend stay! So walkable to all of downtown Salida, and stayed cool during the warm weekend. Instructions were clear and communication was very proactive. Thank you!

Perfect place to stay right in the heart on canon city! we stayed in town for a wedding and the home was our spot for rest and relaxation! we took the opportunity to walk the surrounding areas every morning and saw plenty of beautiful wildlife too! The host Ashley was very helpful and responsive which made our stay seamless! Thank you!

Ed's place was a perfect midpoint for our National Park Adventure driving from Iowa. It had everything needed for a comfy overnight stay. I was worried about the lack of central A/C but the entire house cooled off nicely after the sun went down with a few windows open and the swamp cooler running. It was also nice for everyone in our party to have their own bedrooms.

This airbnb is one of the best ones I’ve ever stayed at. It’s quite remote and surrounded by open space. It’s beautiful, peaceful, and private. It’s not too far from Canyon City and the Royal Gorge. I’d love to stay here again next time I’m in the atea

Wonderful, short stay. The Baywatch cabin is so cute and was perfect for a 1 night stay for my sister and I. We were greeted with smiles and waves as we entered the park. Check in was simple. Lots of fun amenities. The only issue was I wasn't sure about check out instructions and the office wasn't open when we left as it was very early. Will definitely stay again if I'm in the area.

Penrose Naturalist Hideaway is just that. Tucked away from noise and city lights. Naturalist does mean clothing optional, although I never saw many people and they were always dressed. We were fine with that. Fresh eggs were waiting for us and they were delicious. Arriving in daylight is probably helpful. They did contact me to see if we had trouble finding our spot. I believe they have probably already increased the reflective tape. We're already planning our next trip to Penrose Naturalist Hideaway.

This vintage resort- the bubblegum cottage- was so cute! Lots of cute niche vintage things around the property and the views were incredible. Super close to Royal gorge and a few restaurants that were fun nearby. Bathrooms/showers not in the cottage but very close (as was explained in the listing.) had a little fridge/ microwave and a standing a/c that cooled the place efficiently and quickly! we would absolutely come back again! We loved our stay at Starlite Resort! Such a different experience for us being first time in a camper, but in a good way. The area is quiet and peaceful, the views are amazing and the location is perfect to experience everything Canon City has to offer during the day, then relaxing outside your camper by the fire at night. Great place for families with kids too as there’s a little play area, a pool, and lots of space to play and run around. We were there only for 2 nights, but we’ll be back this summer. Dirk, one of the owners, is one of the nicest and most responsive hosts you can find. Wonderful concept and experience!

Our family of four loved staying at the TinShed! Susie and Jason have been so thoughtful in designing this adorable gem. The back patio is great for morning coffee or afternoon happy hour, and it’s fun to open up the garage door to the inside sitting area. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Upstairs tv lounge area is perfect for watching a movie after adventuring all day. Beds were very comfy, everything was super clean, upstairs AC units were great. Location can’t be beat. We will definitely come stay here again!

Great location for Cañon City, Florence or the drive to Colorado Springs! Lovely home with nice amenities.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautifully renovated older home! From the moment we stepped in, we were struck by how thoughtfully the original character of the house was preserved while blending in tasteful, modern updates. The beds were incredibly comfortable with fresh, high-quality linens. The neighborhood was peaceful and walkable, and we were just minutes from great restaurants, shops, and local attractions. It was the perfect retreat to return to after a day of exploring. Highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a stay that’s as unique and memorable as it is comfortable. Majestic Mountain Lodging is fantastic! They worked with us from beginning to end and made our Ladies Weekend perfect! Watching the hummingbirds in the morning while drinking coffee was a great way to start the day. The kitchen was pretty well stocked and the chocolates in the fridge was a nice touch. There were way more blankets, sheets and towels than we could ever use. The masseuse sure knows her stuff! It was absolutely a bonus having her come to the house! Thank you for allowing us to make precious memories in your home!
