Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Fremont County

This is our third time staying at Jackie’s rental. We love the location! Walk out the front door and you’re a few steps to the restaurants, shops and entertainment. It’s a perfect spot for our family- including our dog!

The house was the perfect size for my group. The horses being right behind the house made my daughter very happy. Location felt very much like home after settling in and there's lots to do in the area

The house is nice and in a good location within walking distance of the aquatic center and a brewery restaurant. Rooms are a good size and beds are comfortable. The kitchen has several small appliances including a coffee maker, electric kettle, and toaster so that made things easier. The bonus was several appearances by deer on the front lawn! Salida is a great town with friendly people, great hiking, and beautiful scenery. We will be back!

It’s the perfect location on the trail not far from downtown. We walked everyday.

The house was close to downtown Florence and was nicely done on the inside. The property is peaceful and secluded. While right by the train tracks, it wasn't a nuisance while we were there.

Great house. It has everything you might need. Open windows with great cross breezes made for some great sleeping. Location is great, you can walk everywhere. Didn’t need to drive once the entire long weekend! Already looking into dates to book again!

Wendy is a fantastic, communicative and friendly host - the cottage in Salida is just what we needed! Location was our primary concern and this place is right next to it all! Clean, comfortable and just ever so convenient.

Cute and fun place. Nice little seating area right outside the cabin with grill and solo stove for a campfire. Lots of games for the kids to play. The pool was cold but refreshing. Beautiful views.

Dirk is awesome! His cabin was well suited for our needs, in a great location, and had tons to do on site. It’s very retro in the best of ways. Dirk is an amazing host!

We loved our stay at Starlite Resort! Such a different experience for us being first time in a camper, but in a good way. The area is quiet and peaceful, the views are amazing and the location is perfect to experience everything Canon City has to offer during the day, then relaxing outside your camper by the fire at night. Great place for families with kids too as there’s a little play area, a pool, and lots of space to play and run around. We were there only for 2 nights, but we’ll be back this summer. Dirk, one of the owners, is one of the nicest and most responsive hosts you can find. Wonderful concept and experience!

Grant’s house was the perfect walking distance to town, helped us get some steps in! The house is really nice and comfortable, clean and spacious, I highly recommend!

Our family of four loved staying at the TinShed! Susie and Jason have been so thoughtful in designing this adorable gem. The back patio is great for morning coffee or afternoon happy hour, and it’s fun to open up the garage door to the inside sitting area. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Upstairs tv lounge area is perfect for watching a movie after adventuring all day. Beds were very comfy, everything was super clean, upstairs AC units were great. Location can’t be beat. We will definitely come stay here again!

We enjoyed The Lazy Rays immensely! The place was very clean and well stocked for cooking and large families. When there was a mishap, the host responded immediately and took care of the problem. The front porch and back patio had plenty of seating and comfortable accommodations. The grill worked great and was clean and easy to use. We look forward to staying at The Lazy Rays again!

I loved how easy it was to get to and how accessible it was to enter the home. It was cozy and very welcoming. I did however notice the restroom bathtubs needs better drainage but other than that it was a cute place!!! My dogs loved the yard and it was properly fenced in and safe. I definitely will recommend!!

It's a very nice place! I have no complaints about the location or the host, I would consider this place for another weekend getaway in the future. The river is wonderful

From the moment we stepped in, we were struck by how thoughtfully the original character of the house was preserved while blending in tasteful, modern updates. The beds were incredibly comfortable with fresh, high-quality linens. The neighborhood was peaceful and walkable, and we were just minutes from great restaurants, shops, and local attractions. It was the perfect retreat to return to after a day of exploring. Highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a stay that’s as unique and memorable as it is comfortable. We can’t wait to come back!
