The Sleepy Racoon Cabin is a small, simple house in an incredibly beautiful and peaceful setting. A wild turkey was often nearby. So many birds - a joy to watch - flocked to the feeders. There were quail and lizards - we loved it! Convenient to King's Canyon, it made a great home base for our exploration of the park. Kim's hospitality was truly wonderful. She was there to welcome us, answer questions, and she made us feel welcome and at home. If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful retreat - if you want to spend time in Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Park - the Sleepy Racoon is a great place to be.

We had a lovely stay at this cozy cabin in the forest. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful—trees all around and nature everywhere. The cabin itself was warm and welcoming, and the hot tub was a wonderful bonus. We truly enjoyed the experience and would love to come back again!

Our stay at Jamie’s Airbnb was absolutely perfect. The location strikes the ideal balance, tucked away just enough for peace and quiet, yet only minutes from the lake and the main strip filled with restaurants and bars. The cabin itself is amazing, cozy yet spacious, with plenty of indoor and outdoor games to keep everyone entertained. The living room and upstairs loft are incredibly roomy, making it great for families or groups. What truly stood out was the kitchen. Out of all the Airbnbs we've stayed at, this one had the most fully equipped kitchen by far. You honestly just need to bring your clothes, food, and fishing poles, and you're all set for a great time. We’ll definitely be making this our go-to spot anytime we’re visiting Shaver Lake. this was my husband and i’s first time in california, and our experience was so much sweeter because we stayed here! the space is perfect, beautiful plants surrounding the outdoor space, it just felt right at home! we will be staying here again!

The location is in a quiet rural neighborhood near a creek. The grounds are woodsy with lots of lovely plants and a hummingbird feeder outside the kitchen window. Upon arrival we found fresh baked cookies and fresh cut little flower bouquets. Walking down by the creek scratched our itch for our love of the mountain creeks near our favorite camping area. Inside is a cozy mix of Victorian cottage and modern amenities. It’s close to town for shopping and dining options. Yosemite National Park is an easy 1-1/2 hours away. Kadi is a great host!

We liked that it was very close to the park entrance and restaurants. The view is amazing. As other reviews have explained, the restroom is a short walk to the main house. Also, we were a little surprised by how steep and far away the beach is. Overall, this was a peaceful and relaxing place to stay.

We stayed for a weekend. And we enjoyed staying at Oakhurst it was a drive to the main attractions but it was worth the drive just give yourself a lot of time to drive ahead of time. Overall it was cozy and very at home feel. Peaceful and no interruptions whatsoever. We enjoyed staying at this lovely guesthouse. The host was able to accommodate our requests and very responsive. I would totally recommend you to stay it is definitely a good fit for 1 to 4 people/ group. Didn’t feel like a tight space very spacious and I loved that we had a really nice place. It was difficult to find if your using google maps it can be confusing but we figured it out by looking at the actual map and their entry points! Overall no major complications or problems. Definitely recommend this place!

The cottage is beautiful and we had such a great stay! The photos for check-in were a big help and Amanda was great about communicating with us on where to go and where to park. It’s private, with its own tall, gated fence, surrounded by her beautiful garden beds. She left us home-baked goodies and eggs from her garden, which was so sweet. We went to the food truck night at Gazebo Gardens on Saturday, which was a blast. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely stay here if we’re in the area again! We recommend 100%!

Transformed double garage into a Beautifully decorated Steam Punk car cave. Wonderful, functional full kitchen, great laundry. Bed was soft. Lights give it a cozy ambient feel, with the little natural light. Pretty outside space with lots of seating and privacy. Unfortunately Garage doors are not sound proof so this allowed for the noise of the next door neighbors children playing in the pool during the days and the dog barking to be a little disruptive while working.

Stayed with my family for two days and whole family loved it! Place is exactly as described, in a great location, had all amenities and neatly organized. Gina was very helpful with immediate responses to our queries. Wish we could have stayed longer and definitely recommend.

super great studio cottage close to nature and a pretty solid town. the animals are definitely the best part, the cats are the brightest highlight. well worth the price and perfect for 1-2 people :)

A very charming cabin with shaded parking and backyard opening to good view! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the thoughtful amenities provided for guests. The cabin is beautifully appointed, offering a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere that made it easy to unwind. Its location is perfect—just a short distance to Sequoia National Park—making our daily excursions incredibly convenient and beating the crowds. Janet and David are proactive to reach out and very responsive as well, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend this lovely retreat to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway near the park.

Buck’s place was exactly what we were looking for. It is nice and private, we loved the outdoor shower, our kiddo loved the lofts, and our dog loved all the sniffing and exploring. The pools/falls right down the road were magical and a special treat! It’s a great location for exploring the area.

Excellent place to stay. Incredible proximity to Sequoia and “downtown” Three Rivers. Terry & Noelle graciously provided last minute accommodations for us that made our trip even better. They surprised us with fresh eggs from their chickens and gave us dog food when ours ran out.

A perfect stay! Analisa's place was just what my spouse and I needed for a long weekend while we were in town to visit family. The instructions were clear and the tiny home was clean, tidy, and had everything we needed. We enjoyed birding from the hot tub and seeing all the wildlife in the early morning. Analisa also let us know we could check in early which worked out perfectly for our travels.

this was our first trip to shaver with our 3.5yr old and she absolutely loved it up there! the cabin was kid friendly and surrounded by great nature! the cabin had a great feel to it, like being home. it was a perfect spot for our 3 night getaway! Will 100% book again

We were very happy with Raquel’s tiny home during our visit to Sequoia National Park and Three Rivers! Raquel gave us a warm welcome through a sweet message, and the house was well stocked up. The books about the local national parks were fun to look up birds we had seen during the day. The view from the house is beautiful and the house is conveniently located close to, but not in, Woodlake. The downstairs bedroom could use darker blinds (at least for summer months).
