The atmosphere in the place is pleasantly serene, offering a sense of calm that makes it easy to unwind. It’s a well-equipped space, filled with all the essentials you could possibly need, from comfortable seating areas to well-stocked shelves.

Was a wonderful stay! The wooden panels and features throughout the property is absolutely gorgeous, not to mention the kitchen and bathrooms. Everything was beautiful and the sauna was a love addition. I will definitely be coming back and would recommend to anyone who wants to listen!!!! 1000/10

Great hosts and a great location. Lovely views from the deck and spacious living area. We walked down to Governors for a delicious coffee then walked down Jetty St and along the rocks and beach path. Recommend a walk to the blowhole at high tide. Would love to stay again sometime.

We had a fantastic stay at [Host’s Janine’s place. The home was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The location was great, and the check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. Janine was incredibly responsive, kind, and made sure I had everything I needed for a great stay. You can tell they really care about their guests’ experience. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area and would happily stay again in the future. Very comfortable house - close to restaurants, beach, walks. The Italian, Le Cog, or something like that was excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

If I could give 10 stars I would ..... Thank you Emily what a lovely well appointed place. Love love the King bed and the comfy lounge. Just a short stroll to the water and what a view!! What a beautiful place to stay. Close to Tribunna for our tour. Had everything we needed. A beautiful entertaining area with fire pit. Lovely gardens.

The location was perfect, peaceful and beautiful, and just a short walk to Redbill Beach which had the best sunsets. The house itself had a great living and kitchen, though the split level living did not really suit our needs the best. The place also was a bit old with some finicky doors and locks. But other than that, we had an enjoyable stay and would gladly stay again the next time in Bicheno!

This home is a showstopper! It is a beautiful historic, country home set in a beautiful location. Thank you to Claire for being an incredible responsive host and for giving us a last minute late checkout. We stayed for business this time but I would love to take the family down for a trip too. We spent the night at the Ross pub which was only a 5 minute drive for pizza.

The chapel is a lovely place to stay. Inside, it has everything you need, the decor is beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of room and a peaceful, warm ambience. We appreciated the fresh bread, butter, milk and other supplies, especially as we arrived quite late. The two outdoor decks were great for admiring the wonderful views. It was nice to meet Peter and Claire - thanks so much for taking the time to show us the other historic buildings on your property. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Felt very homely and when the weather is cold, the inside of the house heats up nicely. Really liked the quality of the bedding and comfortable beds. Brought our small dog who remained safe in the well enclosed back yard. Found the host easy to communicate with and was friendly. The wood heater is very charming and really heats up! Overall we had a really nice time and we’re glad we booked here. It was a great holiday experience.

We just loved staying at Emily's home. The view, location, the home, the amenities, decor - all of it was just gorgeous. Without doubt, it is one of the best airbnb's we've ever stayed at. Communication was also super easy and fast.

We stayed for 3 nights with 4 adults and 4 children under 5. The home was perfect for our travelling party as it accommodate the kids as well as the adults. We loved the open living space, it allowed the kids to have room to spread out. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms very clean. We’d stay here again if we were to visit Bicheno.
