Dear Michael: We would like to express our thanks to you for the three nights and days of a delightful stay in your villa. When we arrived we were immediately struck by the beautiful surroundings of a typical Swiss countryside scene. We appreciated the rule that shoes were not permitted in the house. May we say that that also is a very highly regarded traditional Asian rule. Your house sets a very welcoming tone the moment we went upstairs to the kitchen. Everything was clean and ready to be used and whatever we have in our own kitchens we found them in yours and more. And yes, you and your team thought of everything for the bedrooms too. The generosity of supplies were very much noticed and appreciated . For the eight of us in our seventies and eighties we can only tell you that you made it easy for us to settle in straightaway as if we had a home away from home in this idyllic part of the world. It is a very beautiful house, located close to Gruyères. We enjoyed our stay!!

We were there with the family and the grandmother. The house offers enough space for everyone :) The location is awesome; in 2 minutes at the lake (via the meadow). Large terrace with morning sun! We made the trip with public transport. That's possible, the bus runs every hour in both directions. Without luggage, the station can be reached in 20 minutes, with luggage it is more like 30 minutes.

Beautiful accommodation with a beautiful garden, perfect for children to play. Good location for excursions to the lake and surrounding villages. Friendly welcome and helpful hostess.

We had a great time. The description of the accommodation and amenities is perfectly in line with reality. Beautiful views of Lake Geneva. The place is very nice and quiet, perfect for a relaxing stay. It feels like home. Jean Luc is a very friendly, caring and accommodating host. We recommend it 100%, you won't be disappointed.

We really enjoyed our stay as Gasard’s place. It was spacious, decor was on point, 2 bath rooms meant our family of 5 didn’t have to wait for one another.

We had really enjoyed the week at Michel's place. The reception, the care and also the handover at the end, everything just fit 100%. Michel is a really nice, attentive and accommodating host. The house has everything you need and we enjoyed the pool of course. The region is a bit more expensive, but all the places 100% convinced us. I can also recommend the cheese factory and the bakery in the village, they have really delicious stuff. And if you like Tartare, we have decided that it is best here: Auberge des Clefs, Lugnorre So don't wait, book with him right away!!!

Daniel’s chalet is gorgeous, perfect for a chill weekend with family and friends to enjoy nature and peace. The house brings you back in time, making you enjoy slowing down :) Daniel and Sylvie were very helpful in giving us tips and instructions and were always available to help us out. Very recommended .

Paola welcomed us with great kindness. We had a great weekend in his house, which was as advertised and had all the necessary equipment. Plus, Paola was always quick to respond to messages. Thanks again!!

My family and I had a wonderful time during our stay at this Airbnb. We visited with our two kids, and the place was perfect for a family vacation. The property is well-maintained, clean, and offers plenty of space for everyone to relax. We especially enjoyed the swimming pool, which quickly became the highlight of our stay. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, making it easy to unwind. We were also pleasantly surprised by how helpful and friendly the neighbors were, adding an extra layer of comfort to our trip. We felt very comfortable in Cheyres quickly. The place was clean and very well equipped. There was nothing missing. To get to the larger beach, we had to walk about 15 minutes. But that wasn't a problem for us at all. We would come back. Thank you!

The apartment was fantastic, comfortable, clean, good light, everything was very functional. Béatrice was the kindest host ever. The apartment is 5min by bus from the station and 10min away by bus from the University, so it's really convenient. The balcony is amazing.

We had a fabulous stay and loved the beautiful village and surrounding mountains. We had an excellent time hiking, sledding and building snowmen. The home was wonderfully cosy and quiet.

Beautiful apartment furnished with care in a magical place

This was one of our favourite places to stay in our long trip. We loved the surroundings and the space inside. I hope to come again to visit with friends and family. This one will stay on my radar. Thanks for Cindy for her hosting!

Great apartment very well equipped. Easy and free location for car. Very quiet nights. Location close to Montreux, Vevey, Les Avants and Les Pléiades. Listing to recommend.

We really enjoyed staying at Clelia’s cottage. It was an easy 10 min walk to old town Vevey and the boardwalk which was really fun to visit. There’s a Tuesday market which was really fun as welll. Restaurants are pretty close. Keep in mind that groceries are closed on Sundays. The unit is very spacious and comfortable. The beds were not very comfortable but I’m a very light sleeper so others might be fine with that. Also be aware that it is on a Main Street and the cars can be a little loud at night. Clelia is a joy, so friendly and helpful.

We felt very comfortable in the apartment. Modern furnishings, everything necessary was available, lots of dishes and cutlery. Very convenient with the parking space in the underground garage, even for bicycles.

Beautiful apartment in a quaint little neighborhood. Close to the funicular to get up and down the mountain. Great location to the vineyards. It was a tad tricky to find it when we arrived. Got off at the wrong bus stop and then ubered because it was difficult to walk up the main road (no sidewalk at one point). I pictured it being a little closer to the train station, but I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again because it was so lovely.

We spent 1 week in Daniela and Daniel's apartment. They are generous hosts in every way. The apartment is equipped with everything you need. You can tell that the two make a great effort to make you feel good and in good hands. In the refrigerator, for example, milk, juice, butter and jams were ready. There was also toast, various types of tea and a few treats. There was also a welcome snack for our dog. Communication with Daniela was very good and helpful both before and during the stay. One evening, we met outside for a walk with her and my dog and had good conversations while the dogs were playing together. We had great excursions. Recommended: Schwarzsee (approx. 3km) Blausee (approx. 75km) Gruyerezsee (about 40km) If we travel to Switzerland again, we will gladly book the ScheDanis again 🫠
