Located in Swanwick, is a 10 minute drive to Coles Bay and the National Park, 500 meters from Swan River Jetty and boat ramp and minutes from Sand Piper Beach where glorious sunrises and sunsets can be viewed. The Granny Flat is perfect for a one-night stay in Bicheno; simple, clean and affordable (with ocean views). Dog lovers will be pleased to be greeted by Lulu, our friendly sheepdog. The Granny Flat is at the bottom of our block- you will likely see/ hear our kids in the house. Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. Listen to the ocean and the birds and enjoy glimpses of the magnificent sunrise and sunset across the bay to Freycinet and Schouten Island. We live next door in a new house, but the Studio has been positioned to ensure your privacy. You have your own beachfront spot to relax on a deckchair. Dolphin Sands is a beautiful beach and offers endless walking and swimming opportunities. Swansea is a 30 minute walk by beach.

With Swansea just ten minutes away, local vineyards aplenty and Freycinet National Park up the coast, staying longer to explore will only enhance your experience at Driftwood.

The Overnight Pod

Peaceful, centrally located, clean, comfortable and affordable. Please note there are NO cooking facilities and NO television (but there is very fast Starlink wifi). The Pod is a great sleep in/eat out option for the budget traveller (there is a kettle and toaster for your convenience, there is NO microwave). Loads of natural light and a deck to relax in the sun.
