Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Gander

We loved staying in this authentic saltbox house. Mona has done alot of work to make it modern with appliances and furnishings. She made the quilts that are on the beds. she has a great quilt, jam store next door. She loaned us her pot for cooking fresh lobster we bought at fishery (at her suggestion). She is available when needed and answered our questions. The place is close to great hiking trails. Loved our time here. Thanks Mona!

This was the nicest place we stayed in. Five stars all the way. This looked like a professional designed and decorated it. Our host thought of every possible need. I highly recommend this amazing place. If I could change one thing, it would be to stay longer.

A great place and location. Close to Grandfalls, and other areas. Right across from Exploits River, close to walking/hiking. Beautiful place, and value!

We enjoyed our stay. We had tons of room which made our stay very comfortable. The play room was an added bonus. Our kids had tons of fun. Close to a lot of the amenities Gander has to offer.

Loved the beautiful quaint home. It was a pleasure to stay here and feel a part of rural Newfoundland. I especially loved the husky next door who came to hang out on the deck

Fabulous place and Marie was great to communicate with. The house has lots of room for fun in the basement rec room. The kitchen is well appointed with lots of windows for natural light. All 3 bedrooms are a good size and the bathroom is always bright during the day due to the skylight in the ceiling...so cool! The decor is very relaxed and welcoming. There are great views of the cove and the house is a short distance to all that Twillingate has to offer. Please be aware that the the house is up a steep hill. If you have any mobility issues, this is not the place for you. However, if you have a car, the parking is very near to the house and on a level area. We were fortunate to visit in peak iceburg season. There were so many around and sooo amazing to see! They look different from every side. You would think you're looking at different iceburgs. Highly recommend taking the Iceburg Quest boat rour. They get you nice and close with lots of opportunities for pictures.

The house was tidy with beautiful views of the water from the living room. We appreciated the thoughtful touches and proactive communication.

This is very nice Fogo Island home - close to the seashore and convenient to get all the many interesting spots on the island. Very modern and well equipped with latest technology, great kitchen and plenty of space. Thanks for having us and yes we found icebergs!

We locked ourselves out of the house (100% our fault) and Michelle/Jason problem solved extremely quickly. Within minutes, someone arrived to let us in. House is beautiful…surroundings are beautiful…we could not have been happier with our stay.

The host, Andrea, gave great instructions ahead of time. She ensured we had everything we needed and was very responsive to our questions. The place was set up perfectly for two couples. It was decorated throughout with local art and was very clean. The view from the front windows of the bay was spectacular. We set out on the deck the first night enjoying the view. Andrea left a welcome gift basket with local wine and goodies which made us feel very welcome. She also provided an informative binder of places to see and local eateries plus how to use the fireplace, etc. in the home. We would recommend this home to others if they want to enjoy a peaceful stay in a beautiful setting.

This house was cute, cozy, and felt like home. Erin was fast with responding to any message I had sent. We loved how there were boardgames to use, a yard to play in, big kitchen with just about everything you can think of. Lots of seating and beds. Personally, my favourite part was getting up early, perking a coffee, going out and relaxing on the back deck in those comfy lounger chairs and listening to the sounds of birds and nature before we started each mornings activities. It's close to so many things like dollarstore, gas station with little attached cafe, touristy things and walking trail.

We had a lovely stay at Debra’s amazing place! We had a cold and rainy day but enjoyed it playing games (she has a great selection!) in the dining room that has beautiful views on all sides. Starting the day with a short walk up to the Crow’s Nest Cafe for yummy treats and coffees was amazing. The house is a quick drive to amazing restaurants, sites and hikes. Debra’s house was clean and cozy for sleeping and we really enjoyed our stay there - thank you!!

If you are looking for a beautiful, relaxing get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, this place is it! Spent every morning drinking coffee by the water, enjoying the spectacular view. Cindy was extremely accommodating, informative and a fantastic host. The cottage was clean, cozy and well equipped Would highly recommend.

We’re already contemplating a return trip and would highly recommend this rental. The area could not be more peacful and is absolutely beautiful. There are grocery stores, restaurants, gas and a liquor store nearby. The decking and multiple chairs are a great feature. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom spacious. The kitchen had everything needed to cook meals. Wifi was strong and the smart tv worked well. Concerns or questions were answered immediately by the host and Jerdon next door was helpful and a great neighbour.

We wished we could of stayed longer. This place was stunning with a beautiful hot tub, fire place and a spectacular view of the ocean and gull island. We bought snow crab from the local fish factory and watched the sunset on our final night. I would highly recommend staying at Holly’s cottage.

Beautiful little cabin. Our children really enjoyed the playground area and we really enjoyed the fire pit!

Staying at Paul's was the most amazing thing for my whole trip. Playing some pool, having BBQ hanging out with friends and relaxing in a room with wonderful view recharged us from exhausting weekdays. Paul is really kind introducing his house and closing landscapes. We had a great time there!

Hard to find accessible accommodations. The Eagle worked great for us. Our son loved it and he wants to go back.

This place is the picture of serenity. Here You fall asleep and wake up in the most comfortable bed you’ve ever slept in, and go on to make your morning coffee with the Atlantic Ocean literally feet away from your kitchen window. The place has been built with the most precise attention to detail and equally with the most careful conservation of all that is original and it is orchestrated throughout, perfectly. Our host was kind and warm, and helped with any question we had. Everything you could ever need to cook your meals is fitted out in the kitchen. The hot tub is private and hosts the best backdrop and landscape. If you’re looking for a beautiful and unique place to disconnect and breathe in the salt fresh air of Trinity Bay, this is the place to go! Cannot recommend enough, and we will be back!
