Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Garrett County

The Little Fox Den made our week at the lake feel like home! There were plenty of activities inside and in the area so we were never bored. Lauren's communication and information were excellent as well.

A comfortable cabin situated in a peaceful atmosphere made for a relaxing getaway from the hustle of our everyday life. The views from each window were wonderful and the cows next door were adorable. Close enough to the main road to get to all the hiking we enjoy. The game room, hot tub and awesome kitchen just added to the overall excellence of this cabin. Tom and Beth were responsive with any questions we had. Definitely hoping to book another stay in the future to explore more of the area.

10/10 visit! We had an amazing weekend here and would absolutely love to come back. It was the perfect spot with much to do and lots of fun to be had both inside and outside of the house. David was also very helpful and responsive throughout the entire process.

This place was perfectly located—close to restaurants and activities, yet incredibly peaceful and private. The views were breathtaking! The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking, and the entire home was spotless with a clean, modern design. I highly recommend staying here!

This was a wonderful place for a couples weekend getaway! The house was very clean and very nice. The coffee bar and hot tub were great. Carol especially was amazing with her communication. During our stay, there was a blizzard warning, which lead to a brief power outage. Carol made sure to reach out to us about everything first and was extremely responsive and helpful. She made sure we were taken care of and even had a guy come out to clear the driveway of any snow. Overall, wonderful place with a wonderful place. We may stay here again in the future!

It was a cute little carriage house apartment. The jetted tub was nice, it had a coffee pot and blackout curtains. Though we didn’t use it, there were EV charging stations and worth noting. It’s about 5 miles from Oakland proper and 10 miles from the touristy part of Deep Creek, so close enough but far away enough. If you are looking for a place to get away with amazing views and to check out from the real world, this is the spot. Kam was responsive when we did message her. Definitely would recommend.

An absolutely beautiful location! I was able to watch the leaves change in fall while soaking in the deck hot tub. The studio apartment was perfect as my home away from home while on a travel nursing assignment. I had everything I needed. I was able to bring my roku and watch my TV shows while relaxing in the recliner chair. The shower is very roomy. I love that a washer and dryer was included. The only thing I wish it had was a toaster oven…but that is a luxury not a need. The stove, toaster, and microwave were perfect for my month stay. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to “get away” or working in nearby by Oakland, MD. The host is wonderful and very responsive.

Quiet relaxing stay in a beautiful quiet location. Kam was very helpful and responsive to all our needs.

Overall a great stay, definitely worth the price in my opinion. Right next to the ski resort if you’re there in the Winter, and plenty of other activities and restaurants close by.

Kam accommodated us on short notice as we had to come up quickly due to a family member being hospitalized. The place is so peaceful and on beautiful grounds. It was easy to find and a Tesla charger was outside our door. I will stay here again!

We booked this place last minute for a snowboarding getaway for a rare Maryland powder day! This place is central, located less than 5 minutes from the ski resort and restauraunts in the area. The hot tub after a day on the slopes was a hit. Cozy, had everything we needed. We were plowed out and the walkway was shoveled for us. Low maintenance for visitors! We would definitely book again!

We enjoyed our three night stay in the home. It was just my wife and I, so there was more than enough room but it was still more affordable than several hotels. We appreciated the views of the lake from the deck. The kitchen was fully stocked even though we ate out for most meals. We had one minor issue after arrival and we were able to contact host via phone. They handled it within minutes and promptly called us back. We would gladly stay again and would recommend to others.
